This is so cool.

No one seems to build anything anymore, and I really give this guy props for making something like this.

A guy built an RC model of a Jeep Wagoneer out of wood, then plays with it on the trails.

I really liked the carved "Wagoneer" at the end.

On a related note. Real Grand Wagoneers are awesome, but the ones in decent condition are fetching a TON of money. There's a few for sale that are definitely not show pieces but still in good condition for $15-20,000. Nuts.

Man, awesome find!

The filming looks like an old commercial in a sequoia forest...

I have an RC helicopter and a couple cars, so I really love this stuff...

And someone did an amazing job holding the camera steady and without the "shakes" as it had to move almost the entire time. Very skillful in all respects.

That's awesome, how did I miss this thread?! I have to confess my appeal of RC rock crawlers. Much more fun than street RC cars my brother has one and it's so much fun. Amazing that he made this from scratch though, even though with enough skill in welding and woodworking you can make almost anything, it must have been a lot of work putting that together.

Dang! I can't believe I watched that for 5 minutes with that horrible mix in the back BUT that is awesome craftsmanship! If I would have took the time to build something that nice I would be a tad reluctant to run it like he did for fear of breaking something.

Yes I would be a poser.

Amazing work. I kept forgetting it was RC during the video!

Also, anyone else note the cat assisting in the creation of the body work? Seeing a theme here?

The detail on that Jeep is incredible. And the fact the wood panels are actual wood. Mind blowing.

I actually had no clue there was R/C rock crawling out there. So cool! Thanks for posting, Terry.
