A near by dealer brought out the SLS AMG to cars and coffee. Looks really nice. Worst angle is the back imo, but its still not that bad. Love those doors ahah, and the interior is also very nice. Guy that brought it out said they've been doing some videos with the car and they took it out to some lake bed (forgot where) and they hit 174mph, car had more to go, but they ran out of the road.

It looks like it's trying to hard to be a 300SL/SL/Mclaren. Just too busy.

And I would kick it out of bed. More room on the floor.

 

You going to see lots of these since they are not as expensive as an SLR/Lambo.

It's trying too hard to invoke the 300SL Gullwing, and the rear end looks borrowed from a 1G CL.

 

Nice. I think the only part I do not like are the lights.

 

I think you mean the Gullwing, not the SLR McLaren. It's nothing like a McLaren.

as for the original gullwing - is that the gas filler INSIDE of the door jamb???

 

It's ok to me. I agree that they will be seen a lot. But they put way too much crap from MB's history in that car...it is too much.

For those of you that dont think it looks that great, I had the same thoughts when I saw this all over the internet, but in person its a different animal. I even saw it at the auto show and still didnt like it that much, but over here i dunno something changed. Thats just me though

i think ure all crazy lol, it looks gorgeous and it was supposed to be a remake of the 300SL..its not "trying too hard" and idk where ure seeing the SLR in it- the 3 pointed star maybe thats all they visually share in common to me
