My cousin, in England, imports R32z, R33, R34z, and evos from Japan and sells them over there, here are a few pics i took last summer when i went there

Only if it was as easier to import them here to the states, i would have gotten an R34 by now .

^^ In england all you have to do is get the car to pass the MOT, same as the inspection stuff here, the agency gives you the papers and the car is all set to be registered to the new owner. MOT costs about 2500 pounds, and thats it. A typical Impreza as shown above would cost him anywhere from 4K to 8K depending on miles on the odo, he ends up making 2 to 8 grand on each car (depending on each car), which isnt bad. And the guy loves the cars, then again who doesnt. As i can recall Motrex went out of business, an R34 through them could set you back around 80K or so , compare that to the 45K (20K pounds) which can get you in one of them over there in England.

yea, have you ever driven one of these things, im kinda worried that the right hand drive is going to pose a prolem, i wouldnt want anything to happy to the car, luckily the car show is outdoors so ill have an eye on it at all time, ill see if i can get some models on it too

^^ Yes i have, the silver one posted above is his daily driver The car is not as intimidating as a high power Supra would be, since its all wheel drive. You have to love the turbo and the around 8 K redline. Oh as far as the righ hand drive, well i was born and raised in England so thats all i have driven for most part of my life.

Never seen one in person but I would love to. There are other cars for the money that I would rather have but the attention it would get would be awesome.

Get acquainted with the car first in a parking lot or something before putting it on the road, thats my suggestion to you. Even thou the car is AWD, it still is a beast.

yea, i will definatley first get acquainted, im picking the car up at 10 and i think we're gonna head to the show at 1, so i should have enough time to get used to it, and show it off before i head to the car show

i've driven a left hand drive car on right hand roads. you'll just have to remeber that the driver is next to the curb, not the middle

dont mean to hijack the thread or anytning but i would appreiciate it if someone would eduicate me on skylines - why is it such a revered car. Visually, it isn't spectacular or anything, so I guess its all in the performance. Anybody willing to share info about the skyline and reasons as to why its so great.

^^ Yes they are, but the motors can be tuned to produce well over 800 bhp. I think i saw a clip floating a while ago of an r33 dynoed at 1130 bhp.

^^ yes it is, i cant find the clip, that thing almost broke the tie down belt. The silver one on page one, the one that my cousin owns, is turning out a moderate 610 bhp .

call me crazy, but i'll take that car over a lambo or any other car. the skyline got potential. 280HP is the restricted hp in japan. mod it up a little, it can whip some ass. not even lambos can touch that beast. rare car in the states. not that many people import them here. like sarlacc23 said, they are a tuners dream car

^^ Since they are rated so low on HP from factory they arent as bad to insure as people would think. If you get the 4 door saloon ( i think the R34 was offered in 4 door) then the insurance class is really low, meaning its cheap to insure them.

M-spec ... means it's actually able to be a daily driver without killing your back or @ss. That's what I would get over a V-spec II ...

yea, plus i cant afford the gt-r, still makes claimed 250 hp as opposed to the gtr's 280, and its rear wheel drive, still a skyline tho, and im getting a great deal, has nismo lip kit, exhaust, trust bov, apexi fmic, blitz turbo timer, and boost controller

Quick Reply: Skyline - Im really excited about tomorrow
