what kind of retarded races were those?
Z should kill it, has the power and weight advantage by a good amount in this case, that said, you could also hear the GTO wheel hoppin on each launch, shitty launches.

i'm not, w/ that said, I think it'd be interesting to see them go from a roll, the GTO sucks at launching, and that guy does as well. I ran an SC'd G35 and he got me on the launch, but I reeled him in hard once I hit second. the Z in this case should still smoke the GTO, but I think it'd be a more interesting race.
A car w/ 50+ more rwhp and a couple hundred pounds lighter, sounds like a smart race

hell just do some long tube headers full exhaust and a tune and it'd be an interesting race. Maybe throw in a cam as well

i was at a light the other day when a gto lined up next to me. i looked over and thought "wow... gto... fast car" and i guess the other driver thought that i wanted to race him 
well he peels out when the light turns green, i take off normally and his ass gets pulled over by an unmarked about 300 feet from the light.
damn those things are fast... but a turbo'd z is no joke either. i think it wouldnt take much to amp up the GTO though... even with just bolt ons and maybe some software (if it exists) the turbo'd z would'nt stand a chance

headers and a good tune will net you 30+ whp on a LS2
