Since when does BWM make a 550I?
One pulled in the parking lot at work and is still sittig out there. When did they start making a 550I its amazing looking, 19's or 20 inch bwm wheels, aggressive front bumper and duel exhaust. The color is black.
My mom had a 2003 530 6 speed that i loved to drive. 18 inch wheels and the car was low as can be. But she just got the 2008 530XI with the comfort package and fully loaded. blue tooth, navi, sat radio. Not the sport though. Its not as fun to drive as her 2003.

I will be test driving one next Tuesday. Its predecessor (545i) was a blast to drive. So, I am going to enjoy the additional 35hp!!

Must be the 535 caues she got it last tuesday. Still think its weak compared to her 03 sport package. caues its not the sport and has the winter package they couldnt get the steering assist like she had in the sport package. ride is softer its just not like the sport, i am very sad.

Car is just not as exciting, not as low, not as stiff, her new one is more about the comfort, but thats what she wanted, me and my dad convinced her to get the sport package in 03 and she hated it afte she got it. im just giving my 2 cents

535xi's are available (T and Sedan), as are the xi models for the 3 series sedan. I just saw a bunch of them on the lot two days ago.

I drove the 550i yesterday at the BMW event Princeton BMW (West Windsor). Simply: The car is a monster. Through some back roads (of a winding nature) around the Princeton Jct/West Windsor area, I was trailing another event participant (driving a Z4) and somebody in a 330i (E46). Both these guys were driving all out but I was ALL OVER THEM in the 550i.
IMHO, the 550i is the best all around sedan I have ever driven.
Sidenote: I drove the 750Li and 2G X5 4.8 as well.
