^ dude did you just thought about that? how many times did i tell you to get a lawyer?

told you i have so much experience on this type of thing. you don't pay anything. your insurance don't go up. you don't have to deal with anyone once its in the hands of lawyer. you get couple grands at least. no it doesn't really get dragged for long.

do you see any fail in that case?

car was bought for 15k. bank appraised it close to 19k when purchased.

he said the replacement/labor of the apron and replacement of the strut would add another 900 to the repair. so total, its not close to be considered totalled. it will be just under 8k total i think

If you had gotten a lawyer the day after your accident, you probably have your car right now and wait couple weeks to get your paycheck.

It's too late now I think. Just do it next time.

Why wouldn't you want money? Make no fking sense.

Don't take delivery until you verify every link, bolt, nut and cotter pin is in place and to your satisfaction. Check the paint, the panel gap, everything! Don't rush to take her back. Take a white LED flash light, a fridge magnet for the fender and torque wrench w/ spec torque values in hand.

This for sure. I had to pick up mine cause rental period was over and I had to go on a long trip and needed the car. The shop has a lifetime guarantee on their work so they said just look it over find any problems and bring it back and we will take care of it. I did just that and they fixed some. Some they missed again so I am scheduling it to go back again at the beginning of October when my parents are down so I don't need another rental. Do not allow yourself to be unhappy with the results. Make them do it right.

im not in a rush. its been 22 days without a car. i will be gone all week starting Saturday, so if its not right, he gets to keep my car another week and make it right.

im very picky about the car. he even called me to say while swapping out parts over to the new bumper, he saw that the lower grille had a dent from the front plate braket and asked if i wanted to buy another one. i told him since i will be gone, just to swap the original and i can swap it out myself if i wanted. its barely noticeable anyways.

if the car isnt right, i trust he would do whatever he can to make it right. plus he knows im picky. ill bug him everyday if i have to

checked out the car today. the strut was being installed, all paint work was done, just needs to be cut and buffed.

tire will be in tomorrow, just needs to be mounted/balanced/ect.

he said it just needs to be put back together. when he swapped everything over to the new bumper, he said there was so many clips and screw that it took three hours.

we also ordered a couple new plastic pieces for the bumper so it all looks new.

so maybe tomorrow, if not, he will drop it off at my house while im gone
