if you just stare at the side-view mirrors for a prolonged period of time, I can see them looking odd, but you're not supposed to do that!!! look at the car as a WHOLE!!! kthx

This will beat an M3 silly. Wish they would have went with the same ole notchback style tho, not feeling this really.

Anxious to see the pricing. If under $60K it'll sell like Tickle-Me-Elmo!

This is one of the best cars to come out of the U.S. Seriously, for under 75 grand you cannot get anything better.

I really like the C6, but those two little scoops on the Z06 behind the doors and in front of the rear wheels just look out of place. I wish they would have done a better job integrating it into the design.

Still a sweet ride though.

I agree. The C5 was such a smooth design, I guess this is their way of going with the trendy straight lines, they figured it better to just stick them out there. Freakin Cadillac designers need to stay away from the Vette.

Even if it were waaay ugly, how can you argue with the numbers this thing puts out.

when I first saw the matte black brake duct moldings on the old Z06, I (along with others) were like WTF is that... mainly on non-black cars. Now, it looks tough as hell. I think the flares just need to simmer for a while... but - this Z06 does show a little Pontiac influence with the body-cladding... and that ain't good...

Body-cladding, where?

All I see is a plastic rear diffuser and a plastic front lip.

The best Chevrolet EVER!!!!! And for the record, it'll beat ANYTHING from BMW silly!!! I still dont like Chevy but I'd have no problem dropping $60-large on this one.

F23A4, who's now rifling through couch cushions to find $60G in spare change.

Body cladding are the platic parts applied on top of the metal body like they did with the previous generation Pontiacs. Since that scoop is not tacked to the surface, but rather molded into the quarter panel, it's not body cladding.

Example:

Body cladding

See the plastic panels that cover the door from the mid-line down...that's body cladding.
