Simple: Keep the Accord. Pick up WRX in a couple of years.

i think im gonna go into subaru next week, test drive the legacy gt, talk about trade in and see if they'll give me top dollar. then ill switch it to buying the wrx if they give me a high trade in value.
but if i get a normal crappy offer, ill probably just keep the accord.

I'm in your shoes too....I was seriously considering the WRX, then I drove it and was a little dissatisfied. I heard about all the revisions and thought about reconsidering it again, question is to I unload my GTI or wait for the lease to finish in 11 months and get a WRX....Then again I'm also looking at getting a JCW Mini Cooper, the lease programs are looking mighty sweet now....decisions decisions....

But in your situation, You got a fine ride right now, keep the Accord, get the WRX when you get bored of the Accord...The WRX isn't going anywhere...

 

Unless they are giving you more than you paid, keep the Accord.

I have a friend that got in over his head to get a new car last year, Mazdaspeed 3 now he is probably going to lose his license and job because of that, so he is royally screwed. Make sure you can really afford to do it.

if they just would have released the 08 wrx in 09 spec, this wouldnt have been a problem

im probably not going to buy it, in car perspective it'd make my payments a few dollars more. but in reality i could use that $4k in other future debts....
