Should I bite????

Hey guys, I got rid of the Tl in October and have been searching for its replacement ever since. Does anyone think this is a good deal? i might drive too see it in a few hours. Im interested now the only thing is are they gonna be interested in selling it? LOl. If they are willing too do a even trade for the Yukon I think i'll do it. Whats the chance of that you guys think? We will see I guess.

That CL is way over priced. If you want a CL you have to get a 6 speed PERIOD! I wouldn't touch an automatic that close to 100K with a 10 foot pole!

I predict that gas prices this summer will be ABSOLUTELY REDICULOUS! Get a used civic and then decide what to buy with the money left over. You will thank me next October!

That CL-S is priced too high, and I wouldn't buy a used auto, either.
Trade in the Yukon as a down payment, and get an IS250 or a TSX

The CL is too high priced... One of the guys from the 1st gen CL forum bought a 03 6spd with high mileage (92K miles) for $13.5K...

https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-navigation-22/line-output-converters-174853/

Doesn't make sense to buy a 01 auto when you can find a 6spd for around the same money...

I really can't emphasize how much you SHOULD NOT buy that damn car...

Unless you can buy it for 7K so you'll have 3K left for the new tranny you will need at 105K miles.

Not every single Acura tranny ever made is gonna fail. In fact the problem trannies are the minority, they just fail repeatidly. If it hasn't been replaced, I say get it if you can get them down to 10-11k. Its not that terrible of a deal.

Ok guys,
I went and took a look it was a very nice ride. The car was very clean and was very well maintained. I did not buy that one, ( they were too firm on the price) but im in the process of picking up a 01 CL type-S auto with navi 73k on the dash we are at the price of 11,500 well see what happends.

Good luck, but you're buying a loaded gun pointed at your head by getting an 01 CL-S with 73k mi. if you ask me.
I just hope that your dealer is kosher with honoring the 100k mi extended warranty on the tranny even if you're not the original owner. Then again if it's a low enough VIN it may be a japanese built CL-S!

Now that would be a waste of equity from the Yukon..if you gonna do it do right...If you gonna go the route he suggests..Do the 350 or TL?

That's a better price with the navi..There are plenty of non-navi going for that price. Just check the warranty information first because you don't wanna be shelling out loot for a tranny within a year. When I picked up my TL-S I made sure the warranty was up to 100K and the dealer actually gave me an extended warranty till 75k on the little stuff, but mine only had 34K when I bought it. Good luck and enjoy..

VERY NICE!

I don't think I've seen that color in Mass. yet, so yours will be unique. So the Yukon didn't last that long huh? hahaha. I'm glad you got back into a coupe/sedan.

I usually don't recommend the auto CL to newbs that ask on the 2nd Gen CL forum, but you're a special case... You know what you're getting yourself into
