LOL, yea that was me...I was doing a charity fundraiser with Exotics Rally...I sorta kinda took a wrong turn, which was why I was all alone. I did end up getting to the destination the same time as everyone else though. I did see you, I remember glancing over and saw you in the right lane...

I was on the way to GPNY...

For some reason, the prospect of a CEL coming on in a Veyron has me

I was like, if this dude doesn't notice me he's blind

I was on your left, then right, then front then behind. I had a car full of cousins who were visiting and they were all drooling over your car, so I gave them a 360 view

I'm Will's thread, but it's all about me, right?

Here's my run at GPNY...Camera was very shaky, so make sure you don't eat before watching the vid...I spun out once only to avoid slamming into a Kart that hit the wall in front of me. Other than that and the brakes being really sensitive, I think I did OK..
<iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/0Dop17loU9g" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I recorded a portion of the drive to GPNY up until the point where I missed the turn and lost everyone, that's when I shut the GoPro off. I didn't have the time or patience to edit it, so most of the 40 or so minutes recorded are , so I'm watching it now and will post the video with the times in the video worth watching..

Well, I didn't really put 2 and 2 together to realize it was you, but I do remember a black G with tinted windows driving around me. I'm used to people doing the 360 around the car though....Did you see the dude in the Grey Toyota (was it a Yaris or Corolla? I forget?) doing the same thing...

Nope, didn't notice since it was all about you... just like this thread

I learned something today though, if you dont want to be noticed, don't buy a bright yellow sports car. You stood out like a mutha, I was like damn! Looked great!

OK, went through this video, established that majority of my laps were between 30-32 seconds long. From the first official lap, it was 38s, 31s, 31s, 30s, 33s, 37s, 31s, 32s, 32s, 31s.

Video of the drive:

<iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/XQD1ITp7iqE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Most of it was , but I went through it to highlight at least some of the parts worth mentioning:

First 2 minutes was pulling out of the parking area, you get to see some of the cars in front of me.
I got stuck at the light, so the crowd in front of me was lonnnng gone, at that point I figured I may as well take my time.

5:20-5:40 I open her up a little

7:55-8:05 cars behind me catch up to me

10:50-11:10 I let the C63 pass me

17:39 C63 passes me and takes off

20:35 I make my attempt to catch up

23:30 Caught up, some fun starts

28:30 Little more fun

29:10 I open my windows up to bring in some of the eargasmic noises

30:52 I pass a Prius

31:40 I open up the windows all the way to bring in some more noise

32:44 I say "Yeah Buddy" to the Bugatti

35:45 - For trancemission, I rev-match down-shift

36:10 I out accelerate the ZR-1

39:20 I pass everyone through the toll

40:32 I pass the ZR-1 again

41:20 I realize I should have followed the ZR-1 because where he stopped was where I should have gotten off

The organizer had a card with directions that he insisted if we followed we will avoid all traffic. I had my navigation on, and it directed me where I continued. Driving at my leisurely pace, I would have gotten there a minute or two before everyone, but I stopped for gas just before getting to the Karting place, so I got there a minute or two after the first batch of cars.

Overall the drive there was pretty tame than what I've experienced in the past. Didn't really bother me though...Overall it was a pleasant day, until the weather turned things upside down on the ride home.

Oh, and I don't want to hear anything about the video being crooked or my ghetto rigging of the V1...I didn't have much time to put it all together, so it was a quickie job..

I know, he told me about it yesterday...$6,250 ticket for reckless driving. He has a lawyer out in Oregon handling it for him. He was telling me how cheap the lawyers are out there...

He loves to keep it a secret as to what his next cars are going to be....when he sold his Superleggera he has us all going for months as to what his next car was going to be. For bullrun 2013 he will be driving something else, and he told me what it's going to be, but I swore not to tell anyone what it is....

I've read about it. But there's more to the story on how he fights tickets... and it's quite unfair to the rest of us.
