Some of the listed factory cars can not be had for $70 K but could be had for that from motivated divorce settlements ...
They publish obituaries in the paper perhaps they should include divorces
and the toys these folks have to unload.
For me a $70K GTR maybe C7 ...

chronic lurker...
I would totally go with the NSX and mod it as well as something else as a daily driver. I already have an M3 but I think I would drop it for the it factor of the NSX.

I loved the exhaust tone of CTSV
Sitting in it really does give the sport/racing feeling. Wasn't expecting that much
but after a point, it's like a normal CTS to public. Cadillac
But sometimes can't compare these. To me GTR is yuck, I mean I won't buy it in Boston
So many students have it (Asians)
Same with C63
It's like a normal car
Especially if you don't mod the GTR in here, it's like nothing
Brothers friend got M3 instead of GTR just because of that.. everyone has it
swoosh remember the M3 with "AMG LOL" license plate, that
Cayman-R... not many in Boston... friend has one in NYC and it's good there. Nice for clubs and city driving, pulls attention
but too simple
S5 with a nice exhaust plays big role as in stance
If you go to races and blah blah, then this goes on to total different ideas
NSX.. different story
I say Granturismo for myseld
Buy a white one, play black on it. Done
Lovely exhaust, nothing to say about the design, outstanding, luxury inside nice for daily or even after getting married

Used Audi R8 and black it out till it can't be seen at night!
Like dis
EDIT: Okay after looking through used R8 prices...I've found out this car is well over $70k...
Looks like I'd be getting a 2008 RS4 and modding the hell out of it.

ok am going to remove the CTS-V and the Black Series as the CTSV is not exotic enough and the Black Series cannot be had for 70K....yes, I looked....
So here is the list now:
New Cars:
Boxster-S - I configured it and its coming to 82K, the way I like it....but its a convertible
Cayman-R - I like this model and configured it, 87K....looks nice though....
Preowned Cars:
Z06
GTR
Granturismo
NSX-T (Mod Me)

<----- I'm quite happy with my decision...
Plenty of mods available if I want some more go. Odds are I will go with an exhaust at some point, but nothing crazy until after the warranty...
Considered the C63, S4, CTS-V. I liked the M3 best...

Meko, you want to tell me the maintenance cost on an almost 20 year old ferrari ???
Austin that R8 is sexy....but i dont see a single R8 on autotrader for less than 70K which is Manual....there is only 1 auto for 65K
Jnc...cant drive the Atom on the streets....i would like it to be a street and track car....
Savage....wanted something a little more exotic....!!!

Sorry I must have glanced right over your latest list...
My comments on that list...
I like what you have for the pre-owned...
Z06 - Although still a vette, a Z06 definitely has a "I'm special" presence. You know it's more that just another Corvette...
GTR - Godzilla is simply a beast and the options for customizing are endless.
Granturismo - Very sexy, but maintenance costs on a used Maserati are scary. From what I've heard they can have close to Ferrari repair costs. If I remember correctly their warranty is only 2 yr/ 24 months. I considered a Quattroporte a year ago when I saw what I thought were surprisingly low prices on 2-3 year old models. Then got scared away from the potential of it becoming a money pit.
NSX - Probably the most exotic thing on that list. They are becoming rarer by the day, a true classic. Mid engined with plenty of options to customize.

Can't ever go wrong with a c6 z06, those can be had for around 40k used with low miles. And the plus side is you can save around 30k to buy any friends dinner or something like that.

Either the C7 vette, which is going to be great or the GTR would have my vote

Would you consider a S2k and building the shiet out of it?
And +1 on 997 Turbo. Maybe even a 996 Turbo S

Dont think you can get a 997 turbo for $70k unless its over 45k miles or even a R8.
996 is ew.
I'd mostly go for the used GTR, used SC M3 or a CTS-Vagon

Big plans not enough $$$
Swoosh, is it just cars you're looking for? cause if you're open to suggestions that meet the criteria's you set, this is my suggestion.

PERFORMANCE
Performance: 0-60 mph: 3.92 sec
Top speed: 144 mph (230 km/h)
Lateral acceleration: 1.3 g
you're looking at around $50k.

You could always build a factory five GTM.....http://www.autabuy.com/Photos/168893_145273944.jpg
or build a Superlite coupe...if you want to delve into the kit car market

Just badass
F355... dude I always wondered that, how is the maintance on that thing or I mean what could possibly come up after buying it
Or will just an oil change do it
never met anyone who owned one
The link Vortex posted is kind of answer to everything but I am not a fan of Porsche like my brother is
except 993
http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1
Buy a cheap Mustang
build it
done

I understand the porsche Turbo can be had for under 70K but would it be lightly used?
I think the Z06/GTR is getting my vote so far....and Granturismo for being an "exotic" and the NSX-T for being rare....
once the new NSX comes out i dont want my NSX to look "old"

the TL goes back to semi stock....i will still have all my mods and weight reductions and will put couple items back in....
the 70 grand car will be a weekend warrior as well as a street legal track car....so now pick
