Picked this up last week to ride around on my days off and weekends for fun. i have been wanting to take the plunge for a while, and it feels great to finally get on 2 wheels. If anyone in the charlotte area wants to ride together shoot me a PM!

she is a mini rat terrier. very similar breed to the fox terrier so i can see why they look alike. they are the best, smartest, and well behaved dogs ever!

post a pic of your dog in here! i'd love to see another fox/rat around here.

im not sure how fast the bike is, but 696cc is plenty for me. i havent taken it over 5grand (not even halfway of potential) and it was leaps and bounds faster than my CL. i didnt get the bike for speed, but more of just the joy and free feeling of riding on 2 wheels. i value my life and dont plan on doing anything crazy or out of my abilities on the bike.

too much, but they are in high demand so i was kinda expecting it. it was also a lot larger of an expense that it would be for a normal biker cause since it was my first bike i had to buy gear and stuff which added another 1000 to the price.

i opted for prepaid maint upto 37k miles and a 5 year extended warranty. basically that way the only cost i have on the bike as far as upkeep is tires, gas and brakes...everything else is included.

There was this guy at my school who had a new 749.... with matching gear, Ducati jacket, etc. It was his first bike.











One day he showed up to school and there weren't any fairings on it.

 

yea, trust me...im taking it easy. it has 85 miles on it and i havent even left my neighborhood.

as far as the termis...im savin' my pennies. i thought modding a car was expensive. shit that exhaust is 1300+!!!!

Definitely could have been me. I was there on a Saturday a few weekends back with my wife. I sat on a few Monsters as well as the 1098, but yeah, while on the Monster we were talking about some of the Triumphs. As I left they started a Monster 696 outside which had an aftermarket exhaust. That thing sounded sick!

Me likes the naked bike. Some co-workers have been trying to get to look at bikes such as this one. I would of course, get a black matte colored one.
