Charging has been fine. I live close to superchargers and there are a couple free chargers next door that I've been able to use when needed. The big test will be road trip we are taking up the coast next week.
Great photo. As I'm actually considering a 3 Performance when the lease is up on my TLX, I've been more apt to 'pick up' on charging locations wherever I travel. I have to say I'm fairly impressed with how widespread the charging resources are for Tesla and I'm looking forward to making the jump in the next couple of years.
As much as I know I am supposed to be enamored with these Tesla’s, I just can’t get past the way they look. I find the styling to be antiquated and the greenhouse oversized and bulbous.
Then there was the time I rode in one as a passenger in the back seat. The car just didn’t feel as heavy or solid as other Premium Car Brands. Now granted, this was about 6 years ago, maybe they have changed that.
For me, it's the X & Y that don't visually appeal to me as much, moreso the Y, I don't mind the S & 3.
I've not been in one (as driver nor passenger) so can't comment there.
You get used to it. I like the look of the Y over the X. Premium “feel” is much better than 6 years ago. Hell better than 1 year ago with the Y’s initial release. But I’ll say it again. It’s a tech car not a luxury car. But it feels more premium than a Corolla or Civic.
Still not quite feeling the X/Y but maybe that'll change over time. The 3 didnt appeal much to me at first. After modeling it in a similar color combo to my A-Spec, it 'clicked' for me.

6 years ago the 3 and Y didn't even exist. Try a newer one. It's still not as good as a S class or E class but I'd say it's on par with most entry level luxury cars.
The oversized greenhouse makes it easy to see out of and the bulbous design is for aero efficiency.

I didn't get the Y just because I didn't like the look. I thought it looked like a fat Model 3 but it is far more functional than the 3 and I do sometimes wish I would have gone that route.

This. It has come a LONG way from the pre facelift models. I'd say the interior quality is on par with Acura, Genesis, Infiniti, etc. It's not as good as BMW or Benz. Probably close to Audi.

If you change the color to blue and the interior to white you get my the spec of my car.

It may be easier to see out of, but I could never see myself in it. I could also never go out to my garage and see it there, and think it looks as good as my Audi's do.

As far as "Aero Efficiency" ...DILLIGAF?
That seems like it's a personal view thing and not a general statement.
I didn't buy the car for its efficiency, I bought it because it'll spank each and every one of your Audis without even trying but hey, at least they'll look good in the rearview mirror.

Point taken, but I like refinement in my vehicles. And its not like you would smoke me. If you have a Y it runs 12.1, My A4 Stage 2 ran a 12.9 with my 280 lb. ass in it.
I could get one of my shorter lighter friends and we would be even...LOL
My wife won't let me touch the SQ5, it's a lease...
Dude, I'm just bustin chops here...don't get all emotional.

That's cute. Mine will do the quarter in the mid 11's bone stock.
In a straight line, temporarily, yes. Look, there's no question that Teslas have become drag race kings; it's just simple physics. But the Teslas have not become better performance cars. Teslas are the premature ejaculation of vehicle performance; they get to the end of the 1/4 mile really quick, but then what?

The Model S is a straight line king that is otherwise a boat to drive and sucks for handling. That said, the Model 3 Performance is faster around a track than a F80 M3 and a Guilia QV.

model 3 performance has proven to be quite a handler with the right driver. There is a whole circuit in the auto cross world and the e-guys have been cleaning up.

Sorry to burst your bubble.
Well, then, congratulations on purchasing the perfect car.
I don’t have a dog in this fight; love the F80 M3 but will probably get the Model 3 next (though the BMW i4 M50 just popped up on my radar). That said, this was a good head to head:
Well, I stand corrected on the performance; I didn't realize Tesla had caught up in that regard on this model.
I really try to be as transparent as possible on EV ownership and how it compares to other performance cars I have owned. Granted I've never had an M5, I guarantee you that your M5 is better built with better materials than my Tesla is even though it's a lot older. That said, it would get smoked by the EV well into the triple digit go to jail speeds.
The biggest downside, IMO at least, is that the EV is pretty soulless. It doesn't feel like it wants to do anything like some cars do. The S2k just wanted to be spanked hard and wound out. The Golf R wanted to be flung through corners, my Jeep wants to go places where most cars/trucks can't dream of getting to. The EV...meh. It's the best daily driver I've ever had but it does leave me wanting for more.

I won’t consider it soulless. Seeing how I’ve had Toyotas and certain Lexus models. Those are life sucking soulless. The EV has a soul but it’s just different. It’s not an Alfa Romeo or M series. But it’s kind of it’s own thing.
