San Jose has the worst US roads

http://abclocal.go.com/kgo/story?sec...cal&id=4619715

....For all those saying that your roads are killer. Though I have to say 24th street in Oakland is one of the worst single roads ever.... there is not a single area of pavement on that street that is even. In the ghetto part of Oakland if you go up a driveway, slammed or not, something is likely to scratch.

Maybe they got bribed by the state of NJ. Because I swear our roads here are worse that any other. I had 2 bent wheels that support my statement.

eh, theres crappy roads everywhere. i have to say that 680 going towards and away from San Jose is one of the worst freeways i've been on. i bottomed out so many times in my old Accord that was dropped.

It's hard to believe a 'have' state like California supercedes in poor road quality as states which undergo 4 seasons. Every US car mag you'll read will state how bad the roads are in Michigan. I will attest to that! I had bubbles in my sidewalls caused by those cursed roads! Costed me 2 new tires.

We have dirt roads that are main roads. Outr Main road in Coventry is like a mogels of a tripple black diamond and that is it paved. RI had the worst roads by far.

new england roads suck, certain ones that don't get paved often. I have driven down some backroads in Maine that I had to go 5mph on because they are so fucked up, same in NH and Mass, there are some terrible roads up here. makes me scared to drop my car. I eventually will and say suck it to these shitty roads.

that is the worst thing, especially for ppl who have low-profile tires. my dad managed to get a bent rim on his suv when i lived in NYC, he had 225/70/16 tires on it.

BQE is definitly horrible.

i bought brand new 17 inch rims with beefy tires and already i got it bent! plus three of my struts are gone, which all happened just by driving around manhattan. these struts were replaced back in march. struts should last far longer than that!

oh and i actually just chucked my 18's that i used to have because i had at least 1-3 bends on EACH rim!!

i would have to say out of everywhere i have been, Lousiana has the worst roads i have ever driven on. i have been there twice and had damage occur to my vehicle both times. my car was knocked out of alignment 2 times in one trip. i have had 7 flat tires in the two times i have been there. i've had one broken rim and one cracked aluminum oilpan.

Well, the old joke around here is "Minnesota has two seasons, Winter and Road construction." But that's not really true...we have road construction in the winter too.
