San Francisco International Car Show
Went to this last night at the Moscone Center. Good time to go as it wasn't crowded. Last minute decision to go so I didn't have my camera.
Acura display was standard fare. I kept hearing people drooling over the 6 speed CL. Made me feel good that I would have one waiting for me in the garage on the way home. :P They did have the MDX we ordered for demo. The DVD system is awesome and sounds amazing! Last we were told it should get to us by late Dec / early Jan.
G35 Coupe was a lot nicer in person than I expected. The interior wasn't half as bad as I thought or remember seeing in pictures. Don't get me wrong it still sucks. Liked the auto opening/close sunroof, auto up/down driver and passenger windows. Hello Acura! How hard is it to add this to your cars?
350Z was amazing. Looks great and I can just imagine how it handles. I was amazed at how much more space they crammed in the G35 coupe. I know the wheelbase is longer, but they actually made it useable.
Murcielago was HOT!!!
M3 Cabrio with the 19's option. Sic!!
Mini was interesting. It doesn't look like there is as much space in there as there was. It really can fit 4 adults. Surprisingly. . . The Cooper S was sweet and looked like a kick to drive.
This years show was especially nice because my wife and I really got a chance to compare all of the different SUV's in one place. We looked at the Envoy XUV, TrailBlazer XLT, Expedition Eddie Bauer, Lincoln Navigator Ultimate, and of course the MDX. She kept going back to the big ones because of the space for our baby.
Don't want to bore you with anymore details as this is long enough already. :P
