hey kill me if this has been talked about...but im pretty sure this TSX that's coming is supposed to be the much rumoured 4 door based on the S2000 drive train...so though it looks like an accord it should be RWD...am i off my rocker?

No one mixes FWD with RWD cars. Sorry. I thought they were coming out with a S2000 coupe? That might be hot.

Yeah, I thought I read some stuff about the TSX on vtec too. But I thought that it was the s2000 motor in the european fwd accord.

It's going to be an acura, so the 4 banger has to have more power then the 4cyl ADM (american domestic market) accord.

When I was test driving CLS's one saleman said that Acura might come out w/ a S2000 type car

But what do I (and acura salespersons) know anyways

I believe that TypeR is right. The Euro spec Accord is using the S2000's drivetrain but not its engine.

This is the Accord Type R's (in Europe) instruments. Do they look a lot like our CLS' or am I going crazy?

And to be clear the TSX will come as a derivative off of this car, which is the Accord in Japan right now and will be in Europe's showrooms soon.

The interior is almost identical to the USA spec Accord as you see

I'm willing to bet that when the tsx comes to this country, it wonb't have the same exact interior as the new accords, i bet it will be completely differnt

I just hoped they had made more twist in the engine, 210 HP @ 7200 with 180 lb/ft @ 4000 would be nice in a 3000 lb vehicle.

TSX will be rebadged Japanese/European Accord, but probably with a bigger engine. I assume it would have at least 2.4L but higher output than the 2.4L I4 used in the American four cylinder Accord.

i have a feeling that by the time the TSX shows up here, its going to look ALOT more like the RSX....seeing as how its meant to be like a 4 door RSX, they will probably incorporate the RSX tail lights and front end onto that TSX...should look interesting.

i dont get it. it looks like an rsx but has accord interior. so doesnt that mean its bigger than a rsx? if it is the size of an accord why the hell does it only get a 4 cyl? my lil acura connection said the next tl is gonna be more luxury based and damn near an rl,s size. sounded weird to me though. we will all just have to wait and see.
