sorry about the accident.

But I am trying to figure out how it happened? did you rear end someone's ass again

It can be repaired easily. Just ask the bodyshop to order some RS bumpers and LED headlights .

Get something positive out of this.

Damn, that sucks. Hopefully you are 100% OK and it's just the car that needs to be fixed. I agree with oonowindoo though... get some RS parts and make lemonade out of these lemons

So either 2 large trucks can out brake an Audi or you were following to close. Sucks that you fucked up your car, fix it and don't tailgate.

I wasnt tailgating. I looked away from the road for an instant and missed a second to break. I was probably doing 30 and the truck I hit had no damage whatsoever. I just stuck under it. Definitely my fault. Didnt get a ticket which is good.

Good thing you were only texting while driving and not tailgating.

For once I wasn't. My dog was in the car (bringing him home from grooming) and made him sit on the seat.

1) I entered the thread to see why I was a sad day for the Audi, not to crap on whiskers, had he been rear ended my response would be quite different.

2) whiskers was at fault by his own admission.

3) whiskers has been around here long enough to know I'm a and express love by busting balls.

4) whiskers.

x 2.
Hope the dog is fine, too.

The body shop might need to be one certified by Audi to do repairs because of the amount of aluminum used in its cars (I think your car's hood is aluminum, too), so you might want to check on that.

You can call an Audi dealer and find out which shop it uses, too.

Glad nobody was hurt!

Plus, if your not going to pour salt on fresh wounds there's no sense in pouring it. You ever pour salt on a scab? It doesn't do shit, no sting no nothing, just a waste of salt.

No ticket is great. Next hurdle to get over is avoiding points on your license for minor/major accident (determined by cost of repairs) and the associated insurance surcharge
