Ok before people go bashing me let me explain.

I currently needed a daily driver that I wouldnt mind taking on road trips and leaving it overnight in bad areas. I will be traveling (driving) more for work so this was the best option instead of beating on my beloved 335i. While the 335 is no ferrari, i still rather not take it to places where it would draw attention.

On top of it, i had a really shitty interest rate on the S2k.

Anywho, say hello to my new daily driver.

At least you could have had the testicular fortitude to get a manual.... instead you got an automatic!

I'm disappointed in you, give me your 335i now and all is forgiven

Congrats. The Mazda3 is a great car

A "3 vs 3" photoshoot is next, right?

I hope you were able to get your money back on the S2k.

Dealer actually gave me $300 less than what i owe and I only made one payment on the thing. So not that bad, plus it was a good junk of tax savings by trading in. They inflated the price on the trade-in on paper so i wouldnt have to pay tax. (think it was $50).

Manual? Its no sports car, i didnt see a need for it.

VW? Didnt like the sedan jettas, plus they are TERRIBLE in resale. I wanted a slightly used Mazda3 but they are hardly any lower than new ones! Plus the 3.9% was hard to beat for me.

Nah, it happens all the time... Tires can be a significant expense, so if you're thinking about getting rid of a vehicle anyways, it's best to do it before you sink more money into it...

My brother got rid of his 03 Tacoma when he needed tires (60K miles) and got a new 05 Taco... He just hit 60K miles on this one, so I asked if he needed tires.... He laughed cause he knew I was going to suggest he trade the 05 in now... it's an inside joke with us...

I need wiper blades, so I'm going to trade my CL in

Honestly, I was so overwhelmed with all the trim levels that i couldnt figure out what was what.

I drove the 2.3 and didnt think it was much different than the 2.0 and the gas mileage is better on the 2.0 so thats why i went with this one.

Only difference is the engine and traction control, no?

I do wish i bought the 5 door though. Otherwise the car is great so far and very nimble.

You make it sound like a $50k 335i is a cheap beater unless its an M3. Not to sound cocky, but my 335i with mods actually does draw a lot of attention. Dont really want that when traveling.

Costs the same as a E46 M3

To each their own of course.

Good choice for a DD! What's the mileage like on it?

Even if it was a DD I would have picked up a manual, that's just me though.

You could probably get away with a very very very minimal amount of tint all around the car and it still wouldn't attract attention.

Be sure to pick up an introtech sunshade if you guys even get sun up there

I will be awaiting your next thread to vote which DPE or HRE rims to put on it.
