I compromised on my strong desire to get a manual, however the SSM on the TSX is better than most.
I did accidently hit the redline while merging into heavy traffic on the freeway....scared the shit out of me - was in second gear and it made a very loud racket, I looked down and the rev indicator literally bounced off the redline - YIKES!!!
