RSX A Spec wheels

I was looking at the rsx a-spec wheels while i was at the dealership, and i love how they look. They are 17x7.5. I asked one of the salesmen and he said you cant buy them seperately. I was wondering if anyone knew if you could buy them, and if yes, where and how much?

If they're doing it anything like the did with the TL A-spec in Canada then you're dealer is right.

The way they were doing it is that you need to have an A-spec to buy A-spec parts. They would record your VIN number, verify that it's you, then sell you the A-spec part. So if you know someone who has an A-spec they can get parts for you... otherwise you're probably SOL.

Give it time... I'm sure A-spec equivilent parts will surface in a few months....

yea the ones in the pic do look kinda small. I saw them in person and they dont look small. They are the same size as my wheels now, so id think theyd look the same.

Can't you buy the 18 inch wheels that come on the a-spec from acura thou. I thought i saw a pic of someone who had them on the cl. Or are those already avaiable for the base tl as an option. I don't see why they wouldnt sell them to someone without an a-spec. they are just wheels. Seems really gay imo

FYI, just checked with our vendor and with Ray Laks (Tim's good people) and they are not breaking out the A-spec kits.

So if you want the rims you'll be spending $6k (or whatever it is) for the complete A-Spec package (rims, bodykit, suspension, etc.).... so looks like you're SOL unless you can find something on eBay.

Those were the TL optional rims... not A-spec rims.... we can get those as well... but A-spec is an all or nothing thing.

why not just get OZ Superleggera's? You'll end up paying a lot less than what Acura would charge you (assuming you could eventually find them).

There are Acura 18" wheels and there are A-Spec 18" wheels... so they are different. The one's you saw on ebay were probably the Acura 18" wheels.

Yea i know they look like the supers, but they have 1 less spoke, have an acura center cap, and i really like how the color looks in person. I could also sell my stock wheels and keep these on all the time and trade it in with these when the time comes. Wouldnt have to worry about keeping or getting a set of acura wheels later on.

I've said this before...u can buy them seperatly...u just have to know how to do it. Lets say u have a 04TL A-spec right...lets say ur wheels get stolen...is Acura gonna tell u that u have to spend $6K...NO. Same as if u get ur A-spec badge stolen or bend a rim or anything. When u buy the car new u won't be able to get them seperatly...but afterwards there's ways around it. I just installed an A-spec badge on a regular 04TL the other day. Trust me u can find them if u know where to go or find a willing dealer or get a good story

I like the RSX A-Spec wheels but when they first showed the "Factory Performance Package" They had Advan Kruezer 10s which are very cool. You may have some luck if you can figure out who is making the wheel and get them direct from the manufacturer.

How you doin it. I can see getting a badge, but 4 wheels. Even if i had an a-spec theyd want to know why id need 4 new wheels already.

Well would your parts manager be able to hook me up. Do you even know how much they want per wheel for these.

OK...I asked today and thisa is what I was told. We're not supposed to sell them seperatly but it can be done. Today as a matter of fact I installed the suspension and wheels and steering wheel only on a TL. How u ask...the guy is a friend of the owner of my company. So basically you have to get to know someone. I also asked them like if something goes wrong w/ the part or u bend the rims or they get stolen then u will be able to buy them seperatly but thats it. My parts manager said he can't even sell them to me. but theres always a way around everything so...I hope my advice helps u out man...good luck!!
