RSX got its Bodykits...CL???

Damn the RSX looks good in these pics, i cant wait to see it in real life...i think it looks really good..

But anyways, look bodykits...our 1.5 year old CL's, ... Nothing.

I dont think we will even get bodykits..

Wings West was talking shit, according to them, they were gonna have a bodkit available by the end of last summer.

This has been discussed before...the companies that make these things such as body kits will only make them if they see profit in the future for the product. Honestly...even though almost everyone on this board would like a body kit, we are only a small percentage of the CL owners out there.

Ask yourself, how many CL's have you seen today? How many integras have you seen? It really does suck that we don't get anything...at least the new CL's get sways and a heck of a lot more then us 1st gen CL's.

The CL's are like no other car on the road, that I have seen. So, this doesn't bother me and besides Wings West does have the front air dam for the 1st gens. No other sports car has that class that the CL has.

I understand that profit is the key issue here.
But how come there are companies that make kits for Supra's, RX-7's.......ect -- all the cars that you don't see everyday on the road(you know what I mean).
What about these companies?

They also got a bunch of accessories, but a fully loaded rsx type S goes up to 27k. Geez you gotta be nuts to pay that much.

Titanium looking trim

Color matched door trim

And optional rims

This question can be answered very simply. The cl is not offered in japan. If it were offered in japan we'd be able to choose between at least 3-4 bodykits.

Usually it takes a while for new body styles to grow on me, but that thing was ugly the first time I saw it, and it's just as ugly now.

also gotta remember that those cars are "image" cars for their car companies...the top-line stuff...supra for toyota, rex for mazda, Z and skyline for nissan, and of course NSX for honda/acura...the cl isnt exactly the car acura wants as its image car out there...just gotta make kits for cars that attract the most attention...or move the most units...

bottom line...they're BASTARDS!
