Gosh, you're pretty.
Nice work on the motor mounts . It's one of my favorite things to do because it can make such a difference to the driving experience, especially on a manual transmission. I guess the same logic applies to a DSG car.
I put stiffer motor mounts in the Focus and it's been great. The added vibrations become background pretty quickly, and I've noticed a difference with wheelspin and torque steer.
If you did more drifting/real big boy driving, that would help even out tire wear

thanks Aman
I actually just realized that the trans mount and insert are the same for the DSG as my 6MT so I think there's a lot of truth to that and how much it'll help.
When in manual mode dropping into 1st when still rolling there was a pretty obvious clunk...and when switching to reverse...but mainly it just felt sloppy UNLESS
you were under load where the engine was already pushing down on itself. Oddly too the left rear has a different tire on it temporarily and I had been rubbing
a lot...I could swear when I drove it around afterward it didn't rub. These cars need to be driver weighted when aligning, I'm convinced...I'm not into my 3rd set
of tires where toe is cooked...maybe it's from lowering them and if that's the price to pay to look cool...it's worth the price of admission to me.

wife to be had something to say.
ever since I put the bronze wheels on she's in love with the damn S4...
S5 brought enough money to pay off the suburban and get me that TL to fuck with...
S4 is a prettier color to me...roof rack for kayak, trailer hitch for bikes
...
I actually never listed the S5 but a guy that contacted me mentioned wanting a 6MT...
he fell in love with it and I decided that being able to recover almost all the money I had
into it was a wise move.

Not a bad idea.
Probably do a few rentals to see what I like. We had a tandem sit-on Ocean Malibu II XL over the weekend. Even with my wife taking a break (back pain) I had no problem keeping the boat on the move without a ton of effort.
Storage won't be a big problem, it's mounting it on the Malibu to get it out on the water.
Need to figure out if it'll be mostly just me on the water, or if the wife or one of the girls would want to double up.

In a way, yes...basically an almost unmolested version of my old TL.

the coupe was just meh, even tho 6mt, it was just bleh.
I think the color and the 4 doors make the orange one super sexy

and the funny thing is I completely agree...at first I was like wow...so classy but over time
I felt it was a bit boring to me especially since it was polarizing to own the volcano red one and see them washed
next to each other. I don't miss the S5 at all, oddly enough.
Got my first love back anyway so been putting tons of love into that.

i mean; fuck the TL....should just focus on the Volcano red S4. also, your family.
the S5, just looked weird. the proportions were off. that body style HAS to be four doors in order for it to look good.
