Funny ass Penguin...
PS...took a closer look...odd that the camber was more positive on the driver side causing the rub.
I got my roller out and after setting it all up, I chickened out...I'd much rather have less width than fucked up fenders.
Also, take a look at the fender design boys...it has a rectangular shape, which you know gives structural rigidity...I think you'd have to hit it HARD
to get it to lay flat...not thanks. After doing a little more recon online, I was able to figure out which bolt is in the slot for adjustment for camber from factory.
Actually, Jason, double check that this is torqued down...if it's loose, it might be the thud you're hearing.
Well, I gave myself as much negative camber as I could, and still when going over bumps with 3 people and a baby in the car, the bitch is still rubbing a little. So, I'll probably go the other route,
remove spacers and then make the camber as positive as possible which'll also bump the rear up a smidge and probably help the car track better.
Steering wheel isn't straight anymore...lookin like I'll be gettin an alignment sooner than later.

Yes there's a special tool...but no, you don't "technically" need it if you're ghetto inclined...

It sucks cause it's SO close...like, almost not rubbing...but it does and it'll annoy me to have to even consider it every time I need to haul something or someone is riding in the car with me.
If I didn't have PSS, I'd be okay...they run wide.

I can't. I've never had an original thought in my life.
I've faked it so far that I forget what real is.

Tomorrow I'll try and put the driver side back to where it was to see if it corrects the steering wheel...I can tell the toe is off in a major way.
I was sitting there with heat gun in one hand, and my balls in the other and I kept thinking to myself...isn't this the type of headache I LITERALLY just said I was trying to leave behind?

Wait. So, real talk though... Can you take the spacers and have them milled down 2 or 3 mm?
Just enough to make things clear without taking away the majority of the offset benefits?

Honestly, the problem here is that the thinnest bolt on spacer you can use is 15MM...akata tempted fate with 10's some years ago with some documented failures...
so I wouldn't chance it...
supposedly you can run 6MM over the stock hub and there's enough sticking out that the wheel gets centered and the lug nuts have enough meat to grab (thoiboi!).
So anything between the 6 and the 15 would be a slip on spacer that requires extended lug nuts and that's a party invitation I'd decline.
K.I.S.S...amiright?
I mean, I guess I could just buy one different rear tire and put it on the driver side to clear, something narrower than the PSS.![Tomato](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/tomato.gif)

It actually might be rubbing because of the toe being off though, I considered that, but realistically if it touched with some weight in the car, what if I had a loaded trunk and 3 adults...same boat, worried about fender paint etc...fuck that.

If you think 1-2mm will fix it have you considered some simple camber bolts? Easy install, just lift the car, pop out the bolt in the LCA (i believe) and replace with camber bolt. Tighten then turn to desired camber needed. They really are only good to adjust at most 3mm so most people dont bother with them. But if all you need is 2mm to clear with a much nicer stance Id say fuck it why not.
Honestly Ill probably be going this route simply to make each side match as right now with my coilover drop and nothing to adjust camber each side is off by about 0.5 to like 1.5. Camber bolts would easily bring one side up 1mm while bringing the other side down 1mm.
They go for about $20-30.

Eibach Alignment Kit

Forum says good for 1.75 camber adjust. You may find some that have more but cant go wrong with Eibach.

The design on this thing is different than anything I've seen/messed with...
what I'm considering doing is...loosening both left and right lower control arms....jacking up the entire car with B's and the S2000 on either, and then using ratcheting straps to pull the bottom of the wheels out as much as they can go to give me the negative camber. Should work!

PS
bought the 5.81280k off of ebay as well as the eibach pro-kit to lower my car and then get an alignment. Come to find out, it doesnt fit the CTS-V. Thanks eBay. I hate you.
I called Eibach and they said, "We dont make a camber kit for the CTS-V. Sorry."
Now, if you want a kit for your CTS, call Eibach first. And I'll ship you the one sitting next to me on my desk right this second.

Bird is the Word
The car looks so sexy with the spacers! I understand where you're coming from not wanting to screw up your new, expensive car. Two options I will throw out there...
A) Make a relief cut in the fender so it will roll easier. I'm not seeing how your fenders look from the pics you've posted, so that may not be a possibility. The last thing you want to do is to go at it too aggressively and pull the fenders by accident.
B) Get different brand tires next time that run more narrow. Throw the spacers in a box and wait until you burn through your rear tires.
C) Man The Fuck Up!
