As per what was written about the S2000, the concept is simple: It's not ALWAYS about speed and power.
Honda needs to revive this car with a worthy successor. It will sell.

yeah, well, I didn't mean to make it seem as dramatic as that...it has a nice kick once you hit vtec at around 25K RPM and the 100 foot pounds of torque finally kick in though. It's not THAT powerful, but it does have this slingshot feeling.
Yummy...I agree...and this time, EVERY SINGLE ONE WITH FACTORY ALARM AND HARD TOP CONVERTIBLE PLEASE

If Honda came out with a worthy successor (read: RWD, lightweight, and manual tranny), I would trade in for it.
I actually told the salesman at Toyota that when I bought my car. My email address references Honda, and they jokingly (or maybe not jokingly) said I need to change it. I laughed and said I'm a Honda guy. If they came out with a competitor to the FR-S, I'd trade it in on the spot.
The look on the salesman's face was priceless.

am tempted to change my sig LOL
I wanted to say that but we know thats not going to happen....
if he was building an insane motor, thats what I would have suggested but for DD, I would leaning towards a SC more than a Turbo...a little more power, linear power band

Well I certainly didn't post that picture for you NOT to make fun of me, now did I?
Anil...you never know, man...I'm currently doing my research on which TYPE of supercharger I'd want...from what I've researched, there are BOV on both setups that sound awesome. And it's different for the S...the charger puts down some SERIOUS numbers too. Baseline is around 210...lowest I've seen the supercharger is about 310 as high as 430 without internal modding, just upgraded clutch and aftercooler. This is WAYYYYY down the line, but I know that if I were to make one of my cars fast, it wouldn't be my TL anymore.

I totally agree....hence I mentioned no point putting a SC and Turbo both...
I will be honest, it will be a crazy effin build, something like this:

The Vortech afterooled kit typically puts down ~340ish at the wheels. Makes cool noises too.

If you see the video posted, I think they mentioned the kits that made around 280-300whp were the best to drive....the ones that made 350+ (and one of them made 390whp) were a little too much for a DD....
for a little car which doesnt weight much, I think 300-ish HP will be perfect...decently good for a DD, wont stress the mechanical parts much....now for bragging right, fuq yeah 400whp, here he comes !!!

LMAO, and the guy ALMOST has your same vanity plate, Anil.
I know what ends up irking me, no matter what anyone says to respond to you, you always say "yeah, that's what I was saying/meant to say". What do you mean that's why you said no point in supercharging AND turbo'ing. We're drunk now, right?
Badazzzzzzz video though, thanks for sharing.
Morgan...no doubt, man...honestly, 300-400HP in that little car would be oodles of fun while keeping it reliable. That's what I'd be after. Sleeper too...keep it's appearance as it sits right now.

Now that I re-read, I think I misunderstood what Morgan meant by "why not both"....I was going by the traditional Turbo BOV or SC Whine...I think you meant the SC setups have a BOV and hence both noises can be had in 1 SC setup....right? re-read it again slowly?

Or you can go turbo with BOV and install a ratty drive belt + worn pully bearing.

No time soon, man...I'm just wrapping my head around the fact that I'll finally have a forced induction car. In my youth...I drove my buddy's fox body mustangs and they were fun and torquey...but it was my other friend's turbo 280 boosting like 23 pounds that left a lasting impression for me. One day, too soon, junior.
