ughhhh everyones S2ks are making me so damn jealous. I looked at a few, but could only afford an AP1 at my budget and I wasn't about to do that.

So...not sure you can see it on the computer but my windshield was badly pitted.


insurance replaced it free of charge. turns out it was OEM but not the original windshield on the car so I confirmed on the forums the S2000 pits really badly due to the angle. Let's see how the safelite aftermarket glass fares.



I'm a stickler for a perfect view out the front...so I was very happy to have new glass!

 

foolish pics man fuuck.. I need a new windshield badly as well. my front end looked like it was sandblasted from all the hgwy miles, so had the car painted and now looking at my windhsield its pitted for sure and ALOT worse than yours. no chips or cracks though lol

 

I like a perfect view of the rear just as much as the front

 

Not sure what I like more, the pics...the car...or the garage door! All are $$$

 

Did you end up checking what bulbs are in the S2K Jeremy?

In Florida it's easy...I literally just called to ask and they were like, do you want to change it...I was like, sure. Okay...tomorrow work for you for mobile service? Sure!

Fucking mirror fell off in the heat today though...getting it professionally reattached tomorrow. I hope I don't regret going non oem!

Getting new LED parking lights...when I put those in behind the fender liner, I'll check the HID bulbs. Now I'm curious...

I know, man...when I was rolling fenders I thought about it, since liner was out of the way etc...but then I was like, fuck it...not important right now.

Silver one had the 85122+

If this one does too...I might think that was the oem bulb.

If 85122+ is the OEM bulb then it's no wonder you're not really thinking of changing them. They're good bulbs, from what people say.

All this S2K talk is making me want to move somewhere south where there's no winter. I don't like convertibles generally because they look like an afterthought but the S2K is one of the very few cars I feel was meant to be a convertible and nothing else. They say it's a hate it or love it thing about it... and I know in my case it would be love it.

 

I never thought I'd care about a convertible.

Or an overpriced rwd civic.

but I do.

I adore the car...in a way I have never really loved a car.

I love the TL. But that's my wife. The S2000 is my hot big titty girlfriend.

Thanks Thanh! I got lucky...they pretty much let me do as I please. I wasn't sure about it, but I actually have access to that warehouse for pics most afternoons. I think I'm gonna take some new TL ones in there. With the big lights, that'll look awesome.

I have the skeleton key to that building...

 

Couldn't you have resurfaced the windshield with a filler / restoration kit?

 

Love that last set of pics J. Dunno about anyone else but the yellow bollards and black and yellow safety tape really set a good backdrop for the RYP of your S2K. That's some good composition right there!!

 

Maj...maybe, man...but it was EVERYWHERE. I tried using a glass polish with my pc and an orange pad with zero change to the look at all.
