as I said, I think if the max torque came in at 3000rpm as compared to 6800, I dont think you would have even ventured into getting a SC....dat lightweight with the low end torque would be enough to get in some deep trouble....
but yeah the lightweight nature of the beast and 50/50 weight distribution are certainly a plus....
I remember back in 2010, Morgan was telling me to stop modding my TL and buy a S2000....i wish I would have listened since I dont think I can own a 2 seat car for the next couple (like 10-12 LOL) years

Sure you can, Anil...you'd even have it be a 1 seater! Driver racing seat and that's IT. Pick up a rebuilt title one for super cheap. You have the room for it in the garage.
Dennis, my co-worker asked me this morning what the hell happened to the TL, been driving the S every day.
Meh...torque down low, yeah, I guess...honestly for day to day driving, it gets going just fine shifting at 3K or below...I love the Dr Jek and Mr Hyde aspect of the car too...I mean, we'd all like a little more power whether you drive a prius to a Lingenfelter Firehawk...
Maybe it's my brain that's under powered, errrr, I mean, that doesn't have enough power.

Lol I think it was Tuesday I was late and I was eating everything up on the freeway on my way in. Needless to say a few Co workers acknowledge the "power" at lunch lol.
It has been raining since Monday Anil but the tl bumper is out for paint and I didn't want to drive it like that. Went to go pick up yesterday and paint color is way off so I left the car there so he could get it right. In the meantime, more #racecar

hahaha I shift at or around 3K with the TL as well....
love the 8K redline of the s2k though...when I raced the NSX, it revvved and revved and revved and effin revvvvved....so am sure when you redline it, you are bam smack in the middle of the power range....
I wish brother, how I wish....but its not the right time to do that, its time to get an SUV in a few years and then maybe my sports car ....but I really appreciate the sentiment dood....
Dennis, thats sucks...but at least your luck is turning around...the car will be ready, the bumper nice and shiny, you have your rim () and hopefully the weather will cooperate as well ...

No doubt...you're right about that. It ain't the right time for you. Honestly, saved money, moving to rental house with 3 car garage and large rent payment due every month, no kids yet...but on the horizon, I knew it was the time to strike while the iron was hot and betty wasn't unplugging it.
Glad I did...once it's owned, it's harder to UNPULL the trigger, if you know what I mean...like, it would have to be dire straits to get rid of it and it didn't have to be that severe to prevent the purchase in the first place.
Dennis...I know the feeling, being so small and pretty quick and not that under making enough too much power...the S2000 zips through traffic with ease and without ever really having to get up on people or cutting them off nasty. I don't do that anymore (often). They should have your car or gas door to get the paint match right...that's how I did it with the fender. I left my gas door with Brian.

^^^ totally effin agreed....this was the perfect time for you mah man...
I was telling meeks the same thing, enjoy a 2 seater car as much as you can coz in a couple years all you will be driving is a sedan/SUV/minivan....
but your garage has you covered....a sports car, a well done sedan and an SUV....cant ask for anything more than that....and hopefully you wont (or wont have to) part with any of the cars when we have little J's running around....

Yea he'll get it right this time. He took the paint code but didn't use it. Tried to match the color that was on bumper and that was repainted before +1 on striking while the iron is hot. Already have my own home, savings, no kids I was like let me live a little. Now here I am enjoying a fine piece of automotive engineering Plus I'm still young

Yeah Dennis...you're a step ahead of me with the homo ownership...had I not refinanced and put ex on the title I'd be well on my way to owning that last townhouse I lived in. Oh well...renting for now ain't so bad.

OK, all you DIY/Mod guys are gonna need a pickup soon. Trust me on this. And since you like modding sporty, underpowered cars your gonna want to mod the truck. (Ooops, sorry)
Save this post and get back to me in a couple years (or months).
Your welcome.

Haha my buddy already told me. To be honest I am outgrowing the whole molding thing. I am rocking stock wheels of my S with no spacers and I don't mind one bit. I guess I'm getting old

I keep telling myself that, and I end up lowering and modding anyway. I must be more resistant to maturity than Dennis.
10 years ago I bought a truck...I thought I was ready to just drive chill and enjoy being higher up and utility...owned it for 5 weeks. In that time I did headlight upgrade, added subwoofer and speakers and fog lights. Hated it...
Then again, it was a Frontier...I'm sure I'd be a little happier in a Raptor

Thanks Austin!
Yep, I am a Manson fan, actually!
My buddy Mike, who happened to buy the Megan Track coilovers that I passed on (same guy that sold me the Invidia), stopped by with his freshly painted Grand Prix White S2000. We knocked out the install in a couple of hours.
What a transformation, he redid the interior and changed it from a shitty red paintjob that existed on the car. They did black in the bay and white everywhere else. He even had the car's color legally changed to GPW. Came out great!

had the same issue that I had with mine...previous owner of the coils kept the bolt/nut hardware so you have to grind down the tack welds and knock the shock mounted nut off to reuse.

There's something about his car that is too white. He needs to paint the grills black and put the emblems on to break it up some... Great pics as always
Also your OEM wheels > both the wheels pictured if your photoshoot.

Adam...
LOL, we actually discussed both of those things yesterday. The paint shop painted his 2 little inserts that are black on mine...gives that fang look...and he has the red "H"s but was contemplating leaving the shaved look. I told him he should install them too...
And yes, he was over my AP2's yesterday...I was like, git yer gritty hands off of dem! I love the ability to swap back and forth, you already know how I roll.

LOL...between the reflection of the wheel on the ground, the poinciana tree and the clouds, it was the perfect storm for me. I actually drove past that tree on Thursday and thought, I need to come back this weekend for some more shots.
