Thanks everyone...
post major update, main focus is disdain for the center caps...
Hmm...oddly, I think the 17's actually looked bigger on the car than the 18's due to the wheel design. I didn't sell the ap2v2 though, don't worry! I'm sure they'll be back on...just a killer deal and I really wanted to separate myself from a stock ap2 and I was able to accomplish that.

Yes, but a better example for the analogy...
Even if the rest of the wheel looks nice, too large of a lip can throw off the look.
But done just right, it can come out quite nice.

new pics look awesome! Correct me if I'm wrong but this is the second or third time you took shots of your car at that location?? Where in South Florida is this magical place?
I think the center caps work with the whole theme your car has going especially with the front and rear emblems matching

I completely forgot about that! Emblems all match, and it's a retro "throwback" homage to Honda. I love them.
Yes sir, it's a Bedding Barn about 2 miles from my house... Just happens to be a great back drop! Thank you!

Thanks Fellas! Steven, I respect my elders so I wouldn't post him or Steven Tyler!
Okay, so I'd really been considering these for a while but wasn't sold. Betty didn't like them one bit online, and even less in person. I agree, they are really cool, but they seem to kill the flow on the rear of the car and they just make it look like the exhaust cut out on the back of the car is huge...maybe it's a silver on black thing.
Thoughts?

and with nothing for comparison

LOL, I knew your opinion...it's funny, in person I was sure NOOOOo, but looking at the picture, I can't help but think it does add an element of interest to the back of the car. Also threw me off that one of my S2000 Flickr buddies said he loved it. I'm on the fence about it, but leaning toward just returning them. Was curious what some others thought.

hmmm, am on the fence about it too....i really like the clean flow of the rear end without them, but at the same time, I like how it adds some contrast to the rear...
maybe you need a CF license plate frame

Hmmm...maybe I'll sit on it for a couple days before returning them.
License plate frame isn't a bad idea...but it would still kinda make the bumper openings look huge from a distance. Great opinions though, I appreciate it!
Sup Marcel!?!? Want me to ruin your new update!?!?

I actually had 2 angled ones, but they were dark so I deleted them. Wasn't very obvious from the side but if anything it would flow LESS from the side since nothing else is black. I could get the same brand side mirror CF covers but I really don't want to go that route.

I'm thinking tab relocation and fender pull will solve the issue
Aside from that, she's sittin' pretty!

Thanks for that Tyler...yeah, I know it, I guess I'm trying to convince myself either way!
Marcel! Honestly, I'm not confident with my skills, especially after discovering bondo on one of my fenders and having to rectify that. I DEFINITELY don't pull fenders and would even be nervous touching an aftermarket painted fender in case the paint cracks over to the exterior side. I'm sure I can handle normal rolls, and could get good at it, but this is why I do not ever offer/advertise that I can roll for anyone.

Whew, at least I won't have to worry about being the guy that messed them up...although I'm sure with experience, they'll roll just fine. Relocating tab you could do yourself, it's just moving a self tapping screw up and taking a grinder to that baby, but again, hard to have the balls to do it to someone else's car!

So it was because of the sloth that you didn't post the pictures to here.
I will say it again, I am in love with the center caps
Pictures look great, I mentioned that before I think
Height? Meh, car looks perfect currently. I don't care if it got higher, love the rims and it's color
Yes CF pieces begs for a bigger exhaust tips since makes the opening look bigger.
Love your car
Now to the head/taill lights
Godamit my activity level is keep dropping
