LMAO...to keep from putting any dents in Betty's personal bathroom scale with my dirty dirty car parts!
Got a good one this morning. Listen to it with headphones...I'm in absolute love with the sound! At idle, it's about as deep and loud as the TL with the RV6 TD, high flow cats and v3 jpipe
At WOT, it's a bit higher pitched but overall...no rasp and exactly the sound I was looking for. Deep deep and pleasant to shift low or high. I'm sure it's just placebo but the car felt like it pulled away from traffic REALLY effortlessly...so maybe I did free up a little HP.
Lost some weight too
10.5 pounds on header
5.5 pounds on the exhaust
+1.5 pounds going to high flow from straight test pipe
Lost 14.5 pounds. Hmmm....I might lose the spare too, IIRC that was 24 pounds.

Thanks buddy, I appreciate it! I am really really really happy with it. Deep tone shifting down low, then up high it sounds mean but not raspy...once you reach cruising speeds and are just maintaining, no drone. It's absolutely perfect!
J.

Lol trying to enjoy it stock for a little. Just had bumpers repainted so now the exterior is pretty mint. Researching which coils to order now. Leaning towards BC as I have those on the TL and I like them

Nice, man...
Yeah, I actually thought that BC WAS Buddy club. Whoops...been emailing back and forth with an Andy that works there. Nice dude...want me to give you his email address? or give him yours?
I have read great things about the Buddy Club N+ so I knew that was what I wanted. Plus, you know me...I got a killer deal.

they are on the way...
I know too much...the espelir springs on stock shocks isn't TERRIBLE...but I've been around the block enough times to know that if I want a smooth ride, coilovers are the only way. I may not even go much lower, maybe a 1/2" to an 1". I'll drop it to the exact same height and lower a few coils until I scrape on the 3 speed bumps/humps coming into my development. Then raise it back up a turn.

LOL...they're not crappy at ALL. They're actually discontinued and sought after (there's a dude on S2KI with a "PM me to sell your Espelir springs") because they give the perfect stance. What I'm saying is they can't compare to the comfort a full coilover provides. Lowering spring on stock shocks will never be as smooth IMO.
Anyway, I'm probably going to hang onto them since I can't sell/swap the coilovers I have in the future because I won't have ability to swap anything back in.

Damn I wish Invidia made an exhaust for the TL. Always loved their products. Congrats on the new setup, sir.

Don't be so modest...you know it's a big one.
Dennis, don't remind me. My wife does that enough (about how FOS I am whenever I say, NO BABE, I'M HAPPY WITH IT JUST LIKE THAT).
Thanks, John! I must say that I'm VERY satisfied...I don't see why I'd go with any other setup on the car. I love the looks and sound.
here's a quick picture since I haven't taken any high res ones.

effin sick....
sounds awesome..ZERO rasp....
and definitely not placebo...the headers will free up a lot of HP....in the TL the PCD's free up/gain almost 20whp...with free flowing dedicated tube/cylinder, am sure you will free up around the same if not more....

LOL...probably would help if I upload and actually post it.
Damn, I'm getting old. I remember there was SOMETHING to do, but never remember what.
Thanks Gary/Anil...I agree, cutting edge technology...hard to argue as I'm giddy to drive home from work and then drive the 35 miles to my Mom's house this afternoon. Awesome sound.

Why thank you!
They do...I loved the oval...but I also love the NON oem look when it's not overdone.
Thank Chip/Sean for NOT letting me do the HKS high power...about the same price and has round mufflers...UGLYYYYYYY
D's Up, don't be lurking around these parts, bruh
You probably won't like the sound of that exhaust anyway...

I think you should add "SH" to your plate so it reads, "OSH1EIT"

Dennis, big time, man...it's very affordable!
Okay, got out before full sun for some local shots. Think I found my new local spot amidst the cypress trees.
Meeks...I'm not sure if it's placebo, or the noise, or both...but it feels like it accelerates a lot more quickly now. In addition, the vtec engagement point seems slightly less obvious because it seems to be kicking pretty good down low now too.
Betty was like, this thing is loud! And after 2 hours driving down and back to Miami yesterday...I see her point, but I honestly just love it too much. Plus, fuck it...because as Justin put it "racecar". I have the TL if I want "quiet"... with my 2 12's and full dual exhaust. Damn...I really am 17 at heart...

I like that location. There is a park about 10 minutes away from me that I need to visit. It's got some of those huge trees too.
The louder the better
Is it bassy like the RV6 TD?
