wtf, the EVO goes off the track first???? crazy.... you would think in the rain, it would have the best chance vs the other 2 mega-hp RWD's.... wet.f

Great video - thanks for sharing!

I was rooting for the Supra the whole time. I had a tuned 89 Turbo a few years ago. That car had it all - performance and comfort!

that evo.. i really thought he was going to make it all the way while the other guys hydroplaned first and slipped out the road.. i thought it was going to be supra slipping first, rx7, and then evo.

supra is rear wheel and heaviest of the bunch, i didnt think the tires could even hold on to that heavy load, especially with the slip factor. then rx7, since its the lightest, probably shouldve lasted better even if its rear wheel. the evo, come on now, all wheel drive? but then again its the ABS that failed and he slid off course..

awesome video though, scary that they can race in such conditions

Actually the RX-7 should have been gone first since its the lightest, and they are not the most stable in the turns.
THe heavier Supra had the best chance. The heavier you are, the less chance of hydroplaning.

They were insane for racing in those conditions. They could barely keep the cars going fowards on the straights.

That was one of the funniest videos I've ever seen. The narrator sounded like a kindergarden teacher was reading a story book to 5 year olds before naptime. And the way one of the drivers kept saying "insane, insane, insane..." made me laugh and the last part when another driver said "Hey, you changed your outfit."
