Damn...
On a side note, I wonder if these are bigger than the ones on the new Bentley CGT

I attended an Audi event today, a first hand experience of the upcoming 2008 Audi A4, which took place at Gotland Ring, a pretty new swedish race track situated on the island Gotland.
Imagine my surprise when I discovered that they had pulled the new, upcoming Audi RS6 to display for us (Yesterday it was journalists who attended the track, but then the RS6 was safely hidden away from them for obvious reasons )
We got a good first hand view, and had the opportunity to check it out and ask questions about it. Later they started it up for us to listen to the gutteral sounds of a V10 with twin turbos, which I can assure was something other than your average station wagon!
I'll try to upload the clip on to youtube.com and post a link here soon!
Now, that's not an A4 Avant..?
Hm, LED's.... Now this looks reeally promising..
I gotta get a sneak preview...Oh! Hello there huge, beautiful 19 inch of carbon thingy!
A few hours later... revelation, finally!
Beautiful in white (This is the car from Tokyo Motor Show, ie. not really a production car, since they are being produced from week 04 -2008)
Nice LEDs
Not much space left around the engine
This car is seriously good looking from every angle.. asking price just over a mil. swedish kronor (~ € 110 000/ $ 150 000 USD incl. taxes)
And oh, we drove the sh*ite out of the new 2008 Audi A4 on track, slalom and road as well.. 3.2q manual and 2.7tdi aut. was the ones I had the opportunity to test, really good, neutral with not much understeer at all!
We had a Swedish instructor from Audi Driving Experience in Germany, with his wife, who showed us ideal lines and helped us to get around Gotland Ring really fast after some practise. She had absolutely no problem at all dusting us all in a 2.0TDI while we were chasing her with 2.7TDI's.. nice to be beaten by a lady for a change..
Really nice of Audi to fly us over to Gotland Ring for a great day on the track, really appreciated!
Now, here's the vid! Idle + some revving..
