i vote 2008-2009 Subaru Legacy 3.0R or 2.5GT(if you wanna mod it)

the 3.0r is basically unchangeable as far as engine mods go

There isn't one. Audi dropped the 3.2 in the A4 starting with the 2010 MY.

The S4 has the 3.0T, but there's no 3.0TDi yet.

Not that there is anything wrong with G35/37's but I agree that they are played out.

Everyone and their mothers have them.

I guess it's not by coincidence, but I'd rather have something else just for that reason. One of the reasons I really liked the 1G TSX (what I have). Wasn't a ridiculous amount of them on the road. Definitely more now than there used to be (at least it seems like it), but still not overly common.

That's just my thoughts though.

I don't know if I can have the humility to ever drive a Hyundai, I prefer a brand name that is respected.

No. That doesn't mean they are bad cars or that you will have any problems with them. The newer models from Infiniti and Cadillac seem very well built.

Mi madre has an.....'09 CTS? I think it's 09. Got it January '09. Has had no problems for her whatsoever. I'm biased towards Cadi so take my thoughts with a grain of salt, but I love the car and seems to be running like a champ. Solid car. I'd take one in a heartbeat.

+1. I've read reviews and they say it drives a lot like the 3G TL does. I'd test drive one.

Indeed it is. A member on here traded his 4G TL in for one a few months ago. https://acurazine.com/forums/car-talk-5/my-2011-550i-pics-780371/
