and it only has 275hp and less torque! The car is dog slow. Auto CLS would be able to beat it.

well, I thought it had 290 horse, and 275 torque or something like that? Oh well, from the vid, do you guys think the cls 6 spd will be able to match the G35's acceleration? also what did you think of the bus incident?

What a bunch of idiots both the kids in daddies car and the other guy in the G35. Racing up to and (slamming the brakes) by what looks like a short bus (ya it is is a short bus but still could have kids in it). And the weight factor plays more in the low end than high end. The G pulled away in high 3rd/4th gear.

I raced a CLK430 once (pre-headers). I actually ended up winning by about a half a car to ~70mph. He slowly started pulling at that time, but we shut it down.
After the headers, I think it's no problem

When I only had Headers & K&N I was hanging neck and neck w/ a clk 430 until about 80~90ish.
a stock cl-s will have no chance against a CLK430 unless they got 2 passengers

I ran a 13.9 on my CL-S (FWD... as you like to call it). The G35C will not run anything near there. The NSX ran a 13.2... how on earth will the G35C (which probably runs a 14.4 or 14.5) even consider keeping up? My CL-S is probably running a bit quicker now while its still NA - no way the G35C will keep up!
You need to keep the facts straight here!

I don't care how many races I lost, a CLK 430 is too pimp. I am not a fan of the new CLK 500 at all though.
THe CLK 430 is one of the best looking cars and the best looking coupe on the road.

6Sp dream is a fucking hater. The g35 is a sweet car but don't get it twisted. Especially when it comes to Nissan and their inflated hp numbers. A 6sp CL-S and 6sp G35 is a drivers race.

Explain how I am a hater? The G35 rocked the kids in the benz. A G35 will beat a CL-S consistantly with same drivers/mods. On a real race track. ie one with corners forget about it the G35 would destroy a CL. FACT!

Fact, a G35 Coupe will beat a CL-s night or day. My dad owns a G35 Coupe Automatic and we have easily beaten, with two bodies in the car, a few CL-s with just a driver. Weight makes no difference in that race. The car is stock, no mods. The G35 just is faster and has more power, although the its not perfect.

G35c 6 is = to the CL-S 6 acceleration wise. How many of you have driven the snot outta both? Probably none. They are IDENTICAL IMO, both very swift. The G35c handling is waaaay better though, no comparison. Feels better than the IS 300 IMO.
