Raced a Cobalt SS tonight.

Raced a modded black cobalt ss on Johnston tonight. The saw him take off from the light, so I cut through and chased him down. But he caught on early cause i heard his exhaust as he down shifted. Regardless i was slowly walking him down, till we were about nose to nose. When we got to the stop light I got the jump on him and stayed in front. I give the cobalt some credit, it hung strong. All I have is a 6mt with a fujita intake.

Guess you have to be local to find this amusing. Be careful down there Black, the cops look for racing in that part of town.

The k40 radar is always on. But I guess this forum frowns on any kind of street amusement. Ok, that will be the one and only time I will post about any racing.

I had a modded cobalt nearly make me shit myself at the track. He came out of the hole with me and hung on to me almost all the way down the track. Granted i was bolt-ons and tune on some kdw's, he was running tons of mods. he ran a 12.7 and i ran a 12.5. I shook him towards the end.

do you know if it was the new turbo's or the old SC cobalt?

The Turbo cars are gonna be quick with some tuning!

Everyone else giving him a hard time, ease up. We are all enthusiasts here and I bet 95% of us have gunned it next to someone on the street.

black, I recommend your next post like this go in the "racing and comp" section on the TL side

No shit, I love how everyone acts like they are angels behind the wheel. Next time post it in Racing and Comp like CLpower said, its not full of middle aged men with their panties in a bunch.

There's a Racing and Competition sub-forum under the main TL community.

You'll get roasted here. Over there, you're a hero.

I wouldn't even be on this forum if I knew everyone was like this!! What's wrong with most of you guys? What makes you guys hate so much? Actually don't even respond, because all your gonna say is "Racing should be left on the track, " I'm not out at westinghouse street racing on Saturday nights. It was just a comment, I didn't notice there was a different section for this. And for that I apologize. As for having ocd, not even worth an argument. Do the dates make you feel like you take forever to mod your car?

no, I actually had all the aftermarket stuff on my car in my hands before the car arrived. It's just simply retarded to put dates next to your mods.

And this forum is great....but if you are sensitive you should strictly stay in the TL forum

That's exactly what I was about to say...you've got to have slightly thicker than average skin outside of the specific car forums.

I say Black, JJaber and who ever the the other newbie clowns are that came in here defending him should go get a room and buttfuck each other in a big train. There they can high five their "wins" all they want.

If we are really lucky they'll all just die in a wreck, but that is probably asking too much.
