so would this decimate all?
I'm guessing a new Z06 would show this thing some tail lights (in the dry). I know it's about the exclusivity.

I've always loved the R34.... man oh man I would take this thing any day over the new GT-R. I love the Z06, I would also take that any day over the new GT-R but if only the R34 Nur were available in LHD, damn.... the things I'd do....

My ONLY hangup with the Z06 is its rental car grade interior. (If it at least had a Honda Accord grade interior then, I'd run with it and not look back. ) Aside from that, it's hard to beat for the money.

^I actually like the C6 interior a lot and I like the GT-R's interior even more, but in all my years I've never liked an ugly car, so its impossible for me to like the GT-R. It is a great car.... nonetheless I would gladly pay double for a low-mileage Nur over a brand new off the assembly line GT-R, and I would gladly pay more for said Nur-spec R34 over a brand-new V-Spec GT-R.
then again what do I know.... I drive a Camaro and I don't mind the interior at all. The only thing that really bugs me is the massive yet thin-rimmed steering wheel.

What a crock ... I feel bad for the Canadian who tries to buy this car. I thought about importing a R34 GT-R when I was cross-shopping for a NSX back when US$1 = C$1 ... and there is a 15-year rule here in Canada for vehicles not sold in Canada. Meaning: if a car not available for sale in Canada is less than 15 years old (from the date of assembly), it cannot be registered for road use in Canada. (Check out riv.ca for full details.)
So that GT-R can't be plated in Canada. Whomever imported it must have used an "old" car's identity and snuck it in through the back door for it to pass as an exemption. The other way is to bring it in as a 'show car' and never intend to make it road worthy. So essentially, the potential buyer is screwed if s/he wishes to plate it anywhere in Canada. Or at least until it hits 15 years of age ... but then RIV (registry of imported vehicles) will want to know where it was ... and it has to be located out of country and imported properly before it can be plated here in Canada ...
Either way ... nice car.
