A quick photoshoot of my CTS-V wagon
I'm testing some of the limits of my new T4i with Canon 18-135 IS lens. The images are unretouched other than to resize them for the forum. The originals have such detail....that can't come out at this size. Still learning about exposure and composition as well, so please forgive some of the shots. Enjoy, and I'd love a little critique on the images. Happy to learn and I may post in Cameras and Photography as well.
My favorite composition of the lot, but the lighting was a little challenging.

The car looks good but most of the pics are from too far away imo. Watch for things like the garbage cans, park in a different spot, change angle of picture or shorten the focal distance to eliminate from the picture. I know you said you didn't do any post processing but some cropping would have made a big difference in the photos.

I was trying to use the dual bridges to draw the eye to the car, but there were too many items in the immediate area (trash cans, trees, etc.).
Probably what I'll do is just to use one side of the bridge as background and do some close-up shots.
I'll repost in C&P later today to get more feedback.
Thanks for the comments on the car itself. Still love it. Taking it to the Grand Canyon and other places out west starting next weekend! I promise more pics.

Great color!
It seems as if you're reading the light meter off of the trees in the center of the images rather than the car, which is why your car's color looks slightly different in each pic.
If you're going to take shots of the car from a distance to capture the landscape (you mentioned the bridges, etc.), point the center of your lens at the car and adjust your settings first and then point the lens in the direction you want.
I hope the way I described that makes sense
