I have an Acura TL. So I was driving down the road and I stopped at a stop light. I pulled off from light while pressing gas my car made a scrub like noise. I asked around and ppl told me it was my spark plugs.. So I spent the $54 on Denso spark plugs. Friend put them in. I drove all that day and half the next day. Got in my car to leave and my check engine light my vsa light and my abs light came on. Took it to parts store hooked it up they said it was a bad 1299 which was a EGR valve and all of my cylinders are misfiring...I bought a brand new EGR valve put it in. Road for about 10 minutes and check engine light came back on. I took battery cables off cause ppl said reset lights.. Waited an hour put back on and all the lights are back on.. Its not doing any of the things it was before but the lights are all on and there is like a bass sound under my hood.. Can someone please help me.. I bought my parts from Advance they said it wasn't bad items and Auto zone sent me to mechanic.. Mechanic told me my problem was EGR and I had it replaced.. Don't know what's next...

You need to pull the codes. If there are lights on, there's a reason for it and the car will tell you.
