The first pic is of Vossen CV1.

The most recent set I just posted is the Vossen CV2.

I would have to say the GT-R wheels would probably be my least favorite just thought it was interesting someone did it. If I am not mistaken they go for a pretty penny as well and you can probably get a brand new set of Vossens for less than the cost of GT-R wheels.

I guess some have a different definition of cheap. $2700 for 4 - 22in wheels seems like a pretty good deal to me.

Oh and the CV2 is not an option as of now cause it appears they only make it in a 20in and with the lip that would look to small on the FX.

One of the single most important factors when considering a new set of wheels is weight. Reducing the un-sprung weight on the vehicle will improve performance. A smaller, lighter set of wheels and tires, although they may not look as smokin' hot as the 22's, will out perform those pot-hole seeking, gas mileage zapping corner weights.
After-all, this is the reason "mag" wheels came in existence in the first place, to save weight and increase speed.

Generally speaking, you're talking to a guy who rarely puts any additional $$ into a car except for upkeep and maintenance.

So, while I do appreciate a nice set of shoes, I really was after functionality at first.

What are you thoughts on the Lorenzos I had posted originally? So-so? Overpriced?

Personally do not know much about the brand. I have heard the brand name before but that is about it. I believe they are a lower tier brand and might not be super strong. I would do some google searches on them with crack, bend, break along side the name and see how much info you find on them.

They don't seem overpriced since being under $2k for a set of 22in wheels however I would also be leery of actually getting quality for under $2k in a 22in wheel.

I know Vossen markets to the Infiniti crowd pretty well so I would say you might want to join one of the main boards and see if there is a user Mike@Vossen or something as he is one of the main sales guys and maybe you can get a cheaper set by going direct through them than a distributor. I know he is on ClubLexus at least.
