Help with bad bearing diagnosis

I have a 2001 Honda Accord EX coupe with about 215k miles on it.

Recently, I have been hearing clicking noises around the driver side front tire area. I hear this sound at around 20-40 mph especially when I drive near any objects that the sound can bounce off of, including middle island.

I only hear it when I go straight. I've narrowed it down to either the CV axle or the front Driver side bearing. I've checked the CV axle boot and both of the boots have not been compromised. I was also told it's not the CV axle since there is no clicking when turning.

Are there any other way to diagnose bad bearing?

It doesn't look like I can do the bearing myself since it needs to be pressed in and out.

Had a similar issue, replaced both axles and still had the noise.
In addition I replaced a wheel bearing on my own in another car. Yes, it had to be pressed in and out and it took me two days and after I bought the proper size socket cost me about the same as taking to the neighborhood shop.

g-luck.

I was going to say cv joint, but if it doesn't occur while cornering i would say bearing. I would just call around to see how much it'll cost to have it done. It is not worth it to fix yourself.
