Question for V1 owners
How long did it take you to get your V1 after ordering it? I placed an order last week and haven't gotten a shipping confirmation yet- what's the typical lead time?
TIA

I ordered my V1 back in July, and I received it in ~1 week. I don't exactly remember what type of shipping they used, but I think it was UPS.
To be honest, I don't think I received a shipping confirmation either so I would probably wait until Wed before calling them (unless you're really worried).
On a side note - since I see you also have a TSX, I'd recommend mounting to the left above the rear view mirror. I had mine hardwired there, and I think it is the perfect space for it since it's hard to see from the outside, but easy to see from the driver seat.

Ehh, whatever....
If it doesn't have the directional arrows like the V1, I don't care.
I did a head-to-head between the V1 and 8500 x50 when I first was looking for a radar detector. I'll admit they were close in performance, but once I used the directional arrows on the V1, I'll never use a radar without them.
I haven't used the 9500i yet, but its added features look like nothing more than cheap gimmicks that I wouldn't trade for the actual usability of directional arrows on the V1.

Basically you ditch what comes with the V1 & get the standard hardwire cord from Escort. Simple 2 wire hook up. Power & ground. Hook power into your power mirror fuse & ground to a screw, run your cable to the detector & your done.
