Being tempted and taking a pounding, you say?

Yeah. Sounds like you're ready for an Audi, actually.

I thought J was going to buy an R8, I told him I could get him one with the title for 80k...

My R8 sits in the garage, I'm having an issue with it going over 5 mph....

Might have a dead hooker or two. But, we can dispose of those easily.

still have some things to sort out...right now there's a strange idle, probably vacuum leak...and probably vacuum leak on the brake booster vacuum because it seems like the brake booster isn't working.
It stops, but not as it should IMO. Lucky I can downshift and try and plan accordingly. Might explain the busted grill

So, brakes, CEL for misfires, door lock actuators on 2 doors...but I'm about that beater life...fixing the safety issues and letting the rest ride!
She's a hoot to drive, that's for sure.

Thanks Mike...yeah, beater is it...didn't even transfer the car seat leather protector over from the CTS-V. I'm really living on the edge. My gf's daughter was like, oh...so you wouldn't freak out on me if I lean against this one in jeans?

Okay so my hard as fuck brakes...
starting with finding the damn brake booster lines and seeing if somehow those are collapsed or something.
I bet they are...but I'd rather check before spending the cash.
Also seeing that the misfires might be a coilpack thing...
I got plugs coming anyway so I'll just swap all that at once.

The brakes are my biggest concern now.

Make sure that E-brake works! Cut the floor pans out and get a new pair of Addiddass to stop you.

I'll let you know how my power bleeder works.

Honestly, I've never bled brakes before but I think as a first timer .. this will go without a hitch.

It appears to put pressure on the brake fluid reservoir (holds 3 liters) and you just bleed your calipers, I believe you start furthest away from the master cylinder and work your way around.

It also holds more clean fluid so that your system never runs dry. I've never used it though since I just had a friend or the wife hit the pedal a few times when bleeding. Works just as well.

Well Majofo...
I put in a can of chemtool on a quarter tank.
I hooked up my obd2 reader with torque app and confirmed it's more power than a stage 2 tune.

All kidding aside...
I drove the S2000 today. No Z until tomorrow so I figured I'd switch it up...
odd that my CTS-V Wagon, the nicest car of all 3, is the one getting a break!
I should have spent the money on 6MT!
