Problems with 2004 TL
I've been hearing stories about people having some vibration issues with the cars. I looked into it and there are a bunch of posts on the TL board of people all having the same problem.
I know we have a handful of 2004 TL owners on here... anyone having this problem?? I'm curious to know what you guys are hearing about it. Some have had to bring the car in multiple times and the problem has still not been solved. See, this is why I never buy a first year car (I'm still not big on the new TL exterior anyway, but still )

I hate to say this but, here we go again. I know manufacturers, and not just Acura) rush to get products out the door (thanks to Markerting setting dates for delivery). No excuse though for a car that has a 35K price tag....

I remember seeing something about that on Acura-TL.com and thought I remember seeing people saying it was just a tire issue - the tire chosen when combined with the relatively stiff suspension on the new TL leads to vibration issues.
Before the ACL drama machine gets fired up about this one, it's very likely there's already a fix in the works. Especially if it really is just the tires being out of round as I've heard.
Clearly not all TL owners have this problem - they certainly all aren't coming to the dealerships in droves with the problem - in fact the only way I heard about this issue was reading about it on the ATL forums.
Oh well, you're right how it is always something - for example the 350Z initially had a fucked up bouncy suspension which they fixed in the second model year and relegated a fix back to first year owners who wanted it. It also STILL has an alignment issue that causes tires to cup and wear all wrong but that one is unfixable apparently or at least they can't seem to fix it. Maybe aftermarket toe and camber adjustment kits would work.
So yeah, cars are never perfect it seems.

Sorry guys.. had to edit some of the posts. I got a couple of PMs from TL owners who are involved with these issues. They're saying everyone is having different experiences with their dealers so they didn't want any specifics discussed... so I edited it to say only what I've read/seen so far.
