Problem!!!
I just did a tune-up on my 2000 3.2 TL and now my check engine light keeps coming on, and my car is bucking and shaking. All the plugs are in tight and gapped, and you cant screw up the firing order because of the harness, any suggestions?
i used bosch double platinum plugs, then i swapped in auto lite plugs. tune-up; just spark plugs and a thermostat.(the old thermostat was stuck closed) i got the plugs tight, i didnt use a torque wrench.
It does sound like a misfiring problem though. Maybe you should use a torque wrench and recheck the tightness of the plugs as they CAN be too tight.
And as someone mentioned, try putting in new plugs or the old ones to check if you have a defective new plug, as defects rarely but DO sometimes make it past QC.
