Have you thought about doing maybe a chrome dipped bulb for the rear amber signals? that way it looks all white/red?

Thanks!

Jeremy, I thought about it when I first bought the car, but then quickly dismissed it. The minor details really don't bother me with this car.

Okay!
It's a simple cheap bulb change...and no messing with LED and hyperblink.

I know, I'll have to look into it. I'm actually looking at buying a new camera and/or getting darker tint next. Been using my camera a lot recently and it's made me want to step up my game.

Thanks man, but I'm started to realize the importance of certain features in a higher quality camera. I bought one of the cheapest beginner cameras years ago because I wasn't sure how much I'd use it. Now that I understand what I'm doing, a better camera will help out a lot!

Nothing new done to the car. Last week it was running like crap and felt like it had a misfire. I pulled all of the plugs and they were off by 0.004-0.005. I gaped the plugs back to 0.028 and it has been running great ever since.

I decided it was time to upgrade my camera. I was shooting with a Canon XSi (450D) and bought a Canon 70D. My walk around lens was a Canon 28-135 and decided to pick up a used Canon 24-105L. I haven't been able to test it yet due to the battery needing a charge. I'll probably go out tomorrow and take some new pics.

Got to play with the new setup tonight. I drove around for an hour trying to find a new location to shoot at, but didn't find any good spots. I ended up back at one of my spots a little later than I wanted. Not the happiest with the photos, but definitely loved shooting with the new camera.

70D+24-105L is a killer combo, the 24-105 is a great lens and was my workhorse for years. Congrats on the upgrade, you'll like it. Invest in a CPL filter though, it'll take your images to the next level.

I have a Tiffen CPL on the camera. I've read they aren't the best ones to use. Any suggestions for quality filters?

Shoot, your photos are always the best. I just am a maniac and I shoot my cars every fuckin week, so I'm kinda forced to try new things.

The best ones to use are the ones YOU can get the best results out of, not necessarily the most expensive.

I've gotten awesome results out of B+W and Hoya filters (for all, not just CPL) though they are a bit more expensive than Tiffen. With these shots, it looks like you needed to spin the filter a bit more to cancel out the reflections in the glass and the side of the car. Your angles and views are spot on though.

Photos by thoiboi...editing by both of us, and posted to my flickrs

tried to sharpen up...aperture was open a bit long for the car to be perfectly crisp but that's the fun of this stuff, we constantly learn!

Dude, you did just fine...
I think you did a great job, man.

And of course, we were glad to have you.

Adam, thank you for making the drive. Always a great time hanging out with you, my friend.

Those came out great! I'm always learning every time I shoot. I have a certain shooting and editing style that I need to expand. It was definitely a great time hanging out with you guys. Johnny needs to gain some confidence in his manual driving abilities so I can hang out the window to get some low angle shots. Keep me informed when anything is going on down there. I'll gladly make the drive.
