Predatorbird's 2017 VW GTI

My setup is definitely DD friendly. I have zero vibrations from my BFI/APR combo. Hows the NVH from your Powerflex? After my mechanic tuned my car and took it for a ride, he was surprised how great it felt. I forget what he has on his car, but it had tons of vibrations. I'm not a huge fan of the RocEuro bar. It doesn't look very beefy and guys are having issues with the bolts backing out.

The Powerflex with the stock mount is vibration city. Once you eliminate the other joint with the stabilizer bar, it irons out any NVH. The only time there is even a slight bit of vibration is at idle in reverse. Regarding the RocEuro bar - the photos are deceiving. You'd be hard pressed to bend or deform it - it's a thick piece of steel. There were issues with the bolts backing out early on, but they've since gone with new bolts and added some blue loctite. Mine is still good after ~9k miles.

Ha!
Nobody is ever satisfied once you start chasing times.
I think that's why I've never wanted to quantify anything...
never been on a dyno, never been down a track. I feel like
because of how my mind works, if I quantify it any more than
just how it feels to drive...it'll turn it into something I'm never
satisfied with and can't be happy with.

I hate fapping alone. So hard to stroke and hold a hand mirror at the same time.
I guess what I was saying is if you like the Pretorias so much, are they crazy pricey or super rare? Otherwise, why not just get em?

They're expensive, not so much rare so to speak because every 2017 Golf R came with them. However, they look really awesome and most people just keep them rather than swapping wheels which is what makes them rare on the second hand market. Because of that, used ones are expensive and new ones from VW are more expensive.

I’ve never driven the TDI. If you can get a great deal on one, it’s worth looking into
Her RS3 is badass! I’d love to get one of those for my next car
Thanks, Tyler. I need need to figure out which tires to get. I don’t want a track tire because the stiff sidewalk won’t be good for launching.
They run $1k-$1500 with tires. I see them for sale all the time on the forums, but most people don’t want to ship. They can be found without tires for under $1k
Oh yeah. I’ll be on the lower end when it comes to hybrids. I’ve seen 420-500whp with fuel upgrades
The stock motor can handle high 400’s hp. TQ limit is right around 450 max before the DSG will slip.

@SamDoe1 Here are the best looking Pretoria reps I've seen. I don't know their weight, but price is good if you're dead set on this look.
