Yup. I'd do flat black for like track wheels or something, where the dirty look would be cool, but not for your normal wheels. Gloss black all the way.

I currently run matte black OZ Ultraleggeras on my TL and while they look awesome clean, it doesn't take much to look dirty. If it rains the wheels almost look brown. They show an incredible amount of dirt. However if it doesn't rain, they usually look sharp for about 7-10 days. I personally would not recommend matte black or flat black unless it's on a garage queen.

Still haven't decided what to do. I ordered a splitter to protect the clam a little better, I'd rather replace a $200 splitter 5 times than have to replace the entire clam if I bottom out too hard...you can never be too careful. The splitter is going to come in black, and i'm keeping it black. Figured I'd PC the wheels black, and then see if I can pick up a factory diffuser in black to finish the look. Right now the diffuser is silver. There are a few aftermarket companies that make diiffusers with more fins, but for me and my use of the car, I think adding a bigger diffuser will be overkill.

Elite Coatings, in Plainview, NY. www.elitecoatingsny.com

I told him I was a dealer and he quoted $89 per wheel. Don't know what the regular price is though...For all I know he's charging me more for being a dealer..

I think that's actually a very good price if they do quality work. I spent about $75 per wheel for a triple gold powdercoat at the powdercoating place my wheel company uses.
