Potential Car Purchase- EVO (need advice)

What do you think of this evo:

http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthread.php?t=208389

My brother-in-law is considering it. I don't claim to be an evo expert, but he says it's a good deal for the work done. Looks like it needs some small bodywork, and he would get different wheels.. what do you guys think?

Offer him $22,500 if he needs to sell it by Friday!

Check out autotrader and see what they are going for.

Evos = from a superficial sense.

Great performance if you are looking for a project car, but I hear it's a shitty daily commuter.

Offer 22K (as above) as see what happens.

I wouldn't buy a EVO built by a tuner, especially a modded one. Odds are that the EVO in question was beat on.

see, I think the opposite, i'd much rather buy one from a tuner because most of them take good care of their own cars

Reality is, how many cars like this haven't been beat on?

Are you serious? Go to AMS's website and watch some of their videos Why would someone modify a car and drive it around like a old women? Again, I would bet that the car was beat on both on the street and dyno. Doesn't make the car a bad buy, but rather buyer beware.

Of all the tuners a Buschur car would be the last one that i'd buy one from.

It looks like their race car and they may have stripped it? http://www.buschurracing.com/racing-evors.htm If it is, the second paragraph says "totalled" and I would stay far away.
