potential brake problem question

OK, I need help. I have a 2004 TSX, when I step on the brakes going 60-70 mph my car shudders - the steering wheel shakes. I'm not mashing the pedal to the floor, just you know the guy in front of you slows down quickly and you have to react type of braking. It only happens when my initial speed is between 60-70 mph though. Any thoughts? Basically, is this something to worry about or can I just blow it off? Thanks.

Fuck me - that's what I was afraid y'all would say. So would that be covered under warranty? If not, any guess as to the damage I'm looking at?

It might be covered. Depends on how many miles you have. Anything less than 15K and I'd say you have a good chance. BTW, you're not the only one. If you search the TSX threads you'll find a number of members who've had problems with warped rotors.

Depends, sometimes they will. How close are you with your service department ?

Can't reference the CL here, because there was a TSB for it.

I've never gone into the service department, with this or any other car. I change my own oil, do my own belt changes etc. I'm just afraid to mess with this car's brakes - I played with my Isuzu's brakes, but that was a $10000 car, not a $30000 one. Guess I'll just bend over and pray. Thanks guys. Take care.

Post in the Dallas Meets thread, I'm sure someone can help you out around there. Good people around those parts (Mantis, Ruf, Inferno, ect) Most that still post regularly still have Acura's. Worth a try man
