u guys are missing it. the headlight isnt red. its an LED that lights up the lens while the headlight is offfffff....


when the headlight is on the lens shines regularly. its an old retro trick

and yes you can still use youe regular headlights.
phee is correct its just an LED inside that lights up.

 

Not sure if you guys noticed, but the company that makes them is called cin city. They are currently on Speed's Bull Run with the white Veilside NSX. These guys are total douchebags. I banned them from my local site and they are also banned on my350z.com.

BUT, in all fairness, Audi makes the best headlights ever.

 

I think I like the BMW angel eyes better but Audi's lights are quite distinctive...

 

BMW certainly started the cool headlight party. Camaros now have halos too.
