Polyurethane motor mounts??

Does anyone here have an opinion on these? Pros? Cons? I have an Integra aside from my TL and it's needing engine mounts. I was talking with the guy who recently replaced my TL's windshield and he recommended polyurethane motor mounts that would fit inside the existing motor mounts. Specifically, it was Energy Suspension brand polyurethane mounts.

I guess I have a few questions...
1. Will it be OK to put those things *inside* of existing BAD mounts? (which is what he suggested)
2. How do polyurethane mounts affect the ride quality, as opposed to stock mounts? I googled and got a few places where it says the vibration inside the car gets much worse than with stock. That's the "trade-off" for having the poly's, which supposedly hold the engine better.

If it's just a fun or weekend car you'll love it, but for a daily beater I would stay away..they do transfer more vibration to the chassis but they're great for performance. You'll be able to grab 2nd gear as hard as you want and any wheelspin will be smooth as glass...no hop at all. I had the Prothane's in my 92 AWD Talon and it made a huge difference. The Energy Suspension's are little bit softer I remembered reading, but even the Prothanes mellowed out quite a bit after 5-6k miles I remember.

Depends on the car. Some poly mounts are superior to the rubber ones on some apps. Like in 4x4 trucks. I know on my explorers using the poly replacement mounts instead of rubber gave a better ride with less wear.

it really depends on the car. I've seen solid mounts cause no vibration, etc.
