pick one: Vette ZR-1 or Nissan GT-R
Okay here's the deal: Let's say you had the option to have as a "fun car." you could keep your daily driver as whatever it is. your option is new Nissan GT-R or Vette ZR-1. What would you be rolling in? and why?
personally I'd go with the GT-R. This is my personal thoughtsI think for it only having 480 hp(which i know a lot) 0-60 in 3.5 seconds does the 1/4 mile in 11.7 seconds. I think Nissan ON PURPOSE underrated this motor like Pontiac did back in the late 60s with the orginal GTO.
even with a new Mustang GT500 will get hammered by a GT-R. it's 1/4 mile time 12.9.
now don't get me wrong the ZR-1 is a badass ride but the Nissan going and thumping on where American big V-8s used to dominate. This is probably the car i'm most excited about coming out in the next year.

I know the ZR-1 a limited edition car so it's more sought after. but probably 90-95% of cars out there you drive it off the lot there goes a few grand at least.
btw here's kansai's GTR

Easy. ZR1. Looks way better, will be faster, better warranty, easier to mod/tune.

if that is true and they make 1500 a year for the US, I wonder if I could go to a dealership and try to put down a deposit to get one for MSRP, by the time the car arrives I could always change my mind and get my deposit back, assuming they let me put down a refundable deposit...
I would probably have to wait a year and a half or so... I should talk to my friends father who works at a Nissan dealership here... thoughts?
